How do I import pictures from my computer to print artist

Unfortunately you screen (computer or other ) isn't calibrated.
there is software mostly pro use this, but take a picture of a flat grey placard.
using your photo program to check the gamma settings and modify them until the grey on screen matches placard ( hold placard next to monitor). Then print out grey image.
important write down the gamma settings and when you put something to print check to see if these are close.

A way to find multiple versions of an image is to go to google images and drag the image from your computer to the search bar. The picture can even be a picture you took of it! Once you do that it will show you possible images as well as different sizes. Since you're looking for the artist, maybe one of the websites mentions the artist.

If you are trying to import a ms Word document into print artist, they may not be compatible. Try saving the word document as a .txt file and try opening that or importing it in this manner. Sometimes you can just open both programs at the same time and highlight your text on the word doc, right click and select copy ,then paste it into the print artist page.

My parents ran into this same issue this afternoon. After a bunch of trial and error over the phone, here's the solution:

1. Go to the Start Menu and open Computer (used to be called My Computer).
2. Browse to c:\Program Files (x86)\Nova\Print Artist Platinum
3. Right-click on Print Artist.exe and create a shortcut
4. Drag the shortcut to the desktop
5. Double-click on the new shortcut to start the application.
6. Delete the non-working shortcut.

Since I was working with my parents over the phone, some of the file names may be slightly incorrect. However, this should be close enough to get you working.

This simply means that your Print Artist program is no longer compatible with Windows 7. Some of the support files that used to work with XP is no longer recognized in Windows 7.

One way to resolve this is to contact or visit Print Artist's developer's website and search or ask for any windows 7 support or patches for your version 4.0

right click on that shortcut, look at Properties, and then go to that location and try to delete..this should work..

first off...you have to import them....and then, only files that Print Artist will accept....

open print artist...and in the FILE menu...click IMPORT, and point to the file you wish to send to PA. Then, make sure PA will accept this type of file...and click OK...'

You have to Name the file also, I believe.

I have print artist 2.5, 3.0, 4.0 gold, 4.0 platinum and 6.0...

They are all the same.....IMPORT your images into PA...and then name them and save them.

I am sure also, you can copy and paste into a blank document into PA as long as it accepts your type of file.
