The exact same problem

I downloaded some stupid microsoft updates, and now when I press down on my mouse wheel I get a bunch of little tiled mini windows, and if I scroll up with the mouse wheel, it acts like I am pressing the browser back button. It doesn't make any sense.

You need to go into the mouse properties and change what the mouse wheel button does. You can adjust those settings in the control panel.
