Sounds like you need to recalibrate the screen. This can be done by following the steps below:
To Calibrate the Touch Screen on a zūmo®:
1. Turn the unit Off and make sure it is not attached to any outside power source.
2. Power the unit On, continue to hold the Power button for 1 minute.
3. A screen will display that says, Press dot in the lower left corner.
4. Release the Power button and touch the sequence of dots until your unit says Calibration complete.
