Top loading GE color profile washer (wpse4200a) won't fill

Top loading GE color profile washer (wpse4200a) will try to fill, but never get there. It will try for a while, and then eventually stop. This happens on the initial fill cycle and the fill prior to the rinse cycle. (Currently, I manually move it to the next cycle by flipping the rotary selector after the fill cycle stops.) Recently timed the attempt to fill going into a rinse cycle and it was well over 45 minutes.

You may have a water supply problem. There is a mesh screen in the hoses where they hook to the washer. Make sure they aren't clogged up

Washer only spins

Have you tried to unplug the machine, sometimes the control boards can get stuck and if you unplug it for say 30 seconds then plug it back in, it may reset itself. otherwise you may have to call someone these are very complicated machines.

Kenmore Top Load Washer

You say its a Kenmore, but have GE Listed, so will hope you have a Kenmore. Sounds like if its just not working in one cycle, its more than likely a timer issue. Would need a model number to look up the part, but they usually range in price from $100 to $165 in price. They are not usually that hard to replace, so if you want to replace it, let me know and will get you directions, etc for that. Good Luck!!!!
