I turn it on & the start/pause button is flashing, I press it & it goes for a bit then stops..with the same button flashing. Clothes are still wet & it's a small load & filter is clean. I need to reset it.

SOURCE: clean light flashes
You will have to reset the console. To do this, close the door and press these buttons in sequence...
-high temp wash
-high temp wash
...all the lights will turn on briefly and the machine will start a diagnostic cycle. You can press cancel or let the diagnostic cyle finish (1-2 minutes).
You should now be able to run the dishwasher as normal.

I had the same problem recently and a repair person came to my home to fix the dishwasher. He said he had to reset the control panel. He did this simply by making sure the soap dispenser door inside the washer was closed, then making sure the main dishwasher door was closed and locked. Then he quickly pushed the Heated Dry button and the Hight Temp wash button alternately. He said each button needed to be pushed twice within five seconds. After he did this all the lights on the control panel came on, then turned themselves off before the washer went in to a test cycle. This simple reset fixed the whole problem. Works great so far.

Testimonial: "this is very helpful, Allthough I am not capable of carrying out this work I do at least know what the repair guy may say. thanks."
This is a common complaint with this dryer. The probe generating this problem,is at fault. It likely has a film on it,from the dryer sheets.Remove the lint screen, and wipe down the probe that sticks into the air box.Should fix the problem,if not ,replace the probe.
