SOURCE: flushmate 503 - loud squeaky scary noises

Have you tried the "800" number on the tank label or visited the Flushmate Web site?

Could be related to the plumbing or the Flushmate. Technical support should be able to help you pinpoint the cause and, if it's Flushmate-related and under warranty, provide a resolution.

Good luck!

SOURCE: I have a Sloan Flushmate

Hi,
The only adjustment you can make is to crank your water pressure up...
But that probably will not solve your problem...
The best thing to do is to call the 800 number on the top of the tank and get technical assistance from them directly... they also will send you free parts if you need parts...

the repair is done by

Fortunately this problem is very easy to cure. Simply follow the instructions below.

  • Remove the ceramic cover from the tank on the back of the toilet.
  • Fill a one-gallon jug with water.
  • Pour the water into the toilet tank. Just pour it over the top of the black plastic Flushmate container. It will run down the sides into the bottom of the ceramic tank. See photo below.
  • Now flush the toilet. The noise should be gone.
if you have any further questions please message me back and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to help others in similar situations in the future Thanks again Rick

SOURCE: The Sloan Flushmate is spraying

Without more specific detail about the origin of the spray (lower supply, discharge extension, drain valve, etc) it's hard to say what the problem is or exactly how to fix it. I suggest you call Flushmate Tech Support at 800-533-3460 (M-F, 8 - 4:30 ET). For best results, call right from the toilet.

They'll need to know the serial number, model number, fixture manufacturer, etc. to get you taken care of.

Best of luck!

Flushmate 503 sprays water out of top of tank, apparently coming for under the flushmate system. The valve doesn't seem to leak. Iahve pressure tested it.

Turn off the water supply at the wall, flush the toilet to relieve the pressure inside the Flushmate, and call Flushmate Consumer Services at 800-533-3460 M-F, 8:00 - 4:30 ET.

They'll need to know the serial number and approximate date of installation of the Flushmate.

You could alos fill out a confidential "contact" form on the contact page of the Web site, www.flushmate.com.

If yu need to use the toilet in the meantime, you can "bucket flush" it by pouring 2 to 3 gallons of water into the bowl. This will generate a standard siphonic flush and won't give you the pressureized extractiopn but it will keep the toilet usable until a Flushmate support tech can diagnose the issue and provide a resolution.

Good luck!

I have a sloan m-101526 it works fine most of the time after sitting a length of time its like it loses its prime and has little power. flush it a couple of times and it works fine.

Sounds like it's losing air pressure as it sets unused. If you haven't already, I suggest contacting Flushmate technical support at the toll-free number on the serial number label. They should be able to guide you in identifying the source of any air-loss and recommending a solution.

If it's under warranty and replacement parts are needed, they'll send them at no charge.

Hope this helps.

There is a lifetime warranty on the tank and a ten year warranty on parts. Call flushmate and ask. they will not tell you otherwise.

If you use any chemicals in the tank it will void the warranty.

My model# is M-101526-F.I purchase unit 7/2000.When I try to flush,I don,t have the pressure that I normally get.I do see some water in the tank.I also need to shake the handle to stop the filling process...

Have you tried the "800" number on the Flushmate label? Loss of air pressure may mean there's a leak in the cartridge, air inducer valve, or possibly even the tank itself.

The handle-shaking thing typically means the handle and rod are binding up and holding the cartridge down after the flush or that you need to increase the clearance between the rod and cartridge cap.

Flushmate tech support should be able to help you identify the cause of the air loss and advise you on the cartridge cap adjustment.

Good luck.
