As water is filling your dishwasher, a float rises along with it. When the float reaches a predetermined level, it shuts off the flow of water, thereby preventing a leak. Sometimes the float can get stuck in the wrong position in your dishwasher, and it can prevent your dishwasher from filling. Check your float assembly. Replace it if you need to.

The water that fills your dishwasher lifts the float, and when it reaches a certain level, it acts as a trigger for the float switch. The float triggers the float switch to shut off, thereby shutting off the flow of water into the dishwasher. A defective switch may interfere with your dishwasher's filling ability.

Dishwasher fill valves also have a screen built into the valve entrance, this can also get all clogged up and need to be cleaned. ----- There's no water entering the machine If there's no water entering your dishwasher, check these: Water-inlet valve Float switch Water-inlet valve The water-inlet valve lets water enter the machine. If this valve is defective, you need to completely replace it. It's usually located behind the lower access panel on the left or right side. It's the device with the main water line (usually copper) from the house, a rubber tube to the dishwasher, and two wires attached to it. Float switch The float switch is a small electrical switch that's located right below the dishwasher "floor." Above the switch, on the inside of the dishwasher, is a plastic cylinder that floats up as water fills the dishwasher. If this switch is defective, or if the plastic float gets caught or trapped in the raised position, the water can't enter the dishwasher. If the float switch is defective, you need to replace it.

most bosch have the inlet valve at the end of the fill pipe and it has an anti-flood device.
try turning off the water, take off the fill pipe then reconnect it and see if this works.
taking off the fill pipe resets the anti-flood device

your water is syphoning out make sure your drin hose is up
