I have not seen a complete point by point instruction for Dewalt, however the kit # 610773-01 has a sheet with all the part labeled and is fairly easy if you have worked on other nailers. If you have not taken apart a nailer, then search youtube for nail gun videos to get an idea as to what you are getting into. I have rebuilt hundreds of nailers and find that the Dewalt nailers are about a 4 - 5 in complexity. I find that dewalt nailers are faulted with vinyl orings (clear to yellow in color) that fail due to oil/water and heat. Most nailers use black viton orings that lasts much longer. May I suggest posting again with the specific problem that you are having with your gun. Good holidays

I am not acquainted the the specific unit you have indicated. However premature seal failure is usually due to a lack of or incorrect lubrication, a contaminated air supply or use beyond the duty cycle of the unit.

Common seals are often available at the retailer selling Campbell Hausfeld products. Of course once you know exactly which part you need they are available online from a variety of suppliers.

Use an Allen wrench to loosen the two or 4 bolts on nose of the gun. Take the plate off and remove offending nail.

What is bulkhead on pneumatic nailgun

The bulkhead on a nailer is the part that separates the pressure chamber from the lower compartment of the nailer. Usually round center hole for the cylinder to pass thru. The outer shape conforms to the inner contour of the body. Usually made of plastic some are metal and have orings seals or oring surface.

My DeWalt D51845 - when you use the sequential trigger it shoots maybe every 4th time you pull the trigger. If you replace the sequential with the bump trigger ever 3rd one shoots 2 nails.

FlEAKING AIR AT TOP END OF GUN. wILL TOO MUCH OIL IN GUN CAUSE THIS PROBLEM?

Dewalt framing nailers have several orings made of urethane that lose their capacity to seal over time (gun being used or in storage, orings will fail). Too much or too little oil would not have made much of a difference. If your nailer is a couple or years old, order oring kit and replace the orings that seal the cylinder to cylinder spacer(white plastic between cylinder and body of gun). In the head if the gun there is a stationary headvalve that usually does not fail. On some nailers, too much oil will cause the orings to swell and lock-up(but not leak air). Good luck

There are 4 types of D51845, and your type number should be found near your model number. Go to this site and on the left is the box you will input your model number, it will ask for the type number, and then it will take you to a parts list. My dewalt framing nail gun was hooked to the air compressor, but was not being used when it began leaking air which you could hear and got louder. It sounded like it was leaking around the trigger area....

There are O-ring seals around the trigger that are probably leaking. You can try to lubricate the gun by adding the pneumatic oil to the air supply. That may be enough to seal it back up. Otherwise the seals and/or the trigger assembly will need to be replaced.

could be driver stuck with jammed nail or the firing valve is stuck in the head. If this is a Dewalt tool go to Dewaltservicenet.com and type in your model number for a breakdown before removing the cap.

Model DW433 sander. How can I reassemble it? I replaced one of the tensioning rollers and noticed two cylindrical rollers on the table and do not know where they go. The diagram of this sander shows this as tracking roller item 29 but no arrows showing where they go.
