SOURCE: need a schematic for Sunbeam

Hi, the schematics for the electric blanket are not readily available online maybe due to the company's policy just like some others that i know. You may try your luck by contacting Sunbeam on (800) 667-8623 to make a request for the schematics.

I have an perfectfit electric blanket. Yesterday the control would light up and then after five seconds turn off. I checked the connections. Can this be fixed? I love this blanket.

My best guess is maybe... If its the model where the controller can be unplugged from the blanket then i would try and get a new controller for it, if its the cheaper model they sell that the controller is permanently on a cord from the blanket then most likely not. The other problem is generally they shut off when there is an issue, it could be a broken connection or broken heating element in the blanket itself and its shutting back off due to the fault. So best suggestion i can make, see if you can find a replacement controller or contact their customer support about getting a replacement, if the controller costs almost as much as a new blanket then just get a new blanket. I know how nice an electric blanket is!!

I need a manual for a Serta electric warming blanket programmable digital controller

Hello, Kathy -

I don't own such an electric blanket, so I can't provide you information on how to use the programmable digital controller.

If you have not yet called Serta Customer Service and asked your question, I believe that will be the best source:

Call 1-888-557-3782
Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (Eastern Time)

Needless to say, you will need to wait until Tues. Dec. 26 to call.

Our dual control Sunbeam electric blanket is 3 months old and is not heating up, however the powere is on both controls

Should have warranty, plug and unplug the connection to blanket several times. if no help call their customer service. You may be able to return it to the store you bought it from and get a replacement. Hopefully, you still have receipt.

Electric blanket won't heat

Take the help of your mattress pad company or look into instruction manual. Do not operate it unless you are familiar with it. You should call the customer care to know how to operate.

Double control electric blanket. only one controller working.

I would say that you probably have a bad controller but it's possible that you have one side of your blanket thats bad. I would take the control that you know works and put in on the side that doesn't.Turn it on and if the blanket works that tells you the control is bad.
If you have a multi meter you can unplug power cord from the side that you know works and set your meter to ohms and check the resistance, Next due the same thing on the side that you are having problems with and if the reading is the same or close that also would indicate that blanket is ok and you need one new control.
I hope this helps you .Thank you and have a good new year.

I need to find a replacement control unit for the following electric blanket: Sunbeam 33600 RN 17280 PN 107882-003 Style 84 SK If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.

I have the same numbers on my blanket, mine has a PAC-215 controller, I found a couple of them on ebay. Don't know it all blankets have the controller so check the numbers on the back of your controller.
