SOURCE: No sound on Hisense LTDN24V86US 24 LCD TV. Tried headphone jack still no sound.

this company has went out of business at least 2 times--They are in China and parts are for the most part non-existent.

Likely that problem is on main board (the large and most expensive board in the set.

A simple check to see if sound is present when using a DVD etc also will confirm if via rear jacks if problem in set or not.

If you still have back light, then the T-con is probably defective. If you don't have back light, then you either have a bad power board/inverter or a defective panel

Buffer Board Ribbon on TV wasn't answered

Have a Hisense 40H3E tv that the screen went black on (Still has sound). You can see the picture if you shine a light on it. I took it apart and tested the led output with my multi-meter and it gets about...

U can unplug set awhile but may helpit temporarily. Tv is old n worn. Anew one is cheapr then fixn. Think wal*mart

Codes to upgrade hisense40h3e to a smart tv

There is no code to turn the Hisense 40H3E into a smart TV. This TV doesn't have the network LAN or WI-FI hardware or software. You can only add network streaming by connecting a streaming stick (Roku, Fire, etc.), streaming box (similar items) or use a computer. Most streaming devices connect to the HDMI port; you may need an HDMI switch to share the TV with multiple devices.

Note: the USB port on this TV may not supply sufficient power for some streaming devices. You may need to connect them to an USB power supply to a standard outlet.
