First you need to convert the songs on the CD into mp3 music files then you copy these mp3 files to your ipod. There are several freeware rip programs on the Internet that rip CD songs into mp3 files. Do a Google search for these rip programs and install the program on your computer. You can use Windows Media Player, it can rip music CDs and convert the music files into mp3 music files.
You can charge it with usb cord. Make sure the latest drivers are downloaded for pc to recognize the ipod. Then you can also sync ipod with media player 11 under the sync option. You can also go to my computer and see your device. Double-click to open the drive. With this window left open, you can then go to music folder and drag and drop the songs from media player to the ipod drive/folder.
First you'll need iTunes, download it here free. Once you have installed iTunes, plug your iPod into your computer, then start up iTunes(it may start up on it's own). You will see your iPod under devices on the left side of the iTunes window, click it. If you bought your iPod brand new, then you will have to set up and register your iPod, it's a very fast and easy process. Now you need to put all your music into your iTunes library, if you have music on a CD, then insert your CDs into your disc slot, iTunes will ask you if you want to rip your music to your library, say yes. Once you have moved all your music to your iTunes library, your iPod will automatically be synced with the music you have added.
Hope this helps!
Green and ORANGE? orange indicates the iPod is searching for music.
UNDERSTAND this- when you play music in the iTunes app., you are hearing the music in your computer not the iPod.
1) Install the latest iTunes application.
2) Do a restore
3) sync your iPod
that is because the songs have not been transferred to your ipod yet....connect your ipod to your pc....open itunes.....select all songs from your music library and drag them to your ipod icon....the songs will start getting transferred....therafter you can listen them on your ipod too....
I can not remember where to put the button to listen to my ipod shuffle songs in order.I downloaded a song and have not heard it on my ipod yet. Thanks,Mary
Do you have iTunes installed?? you have to rip the CD to iTunes and
then you can sync them to your iPod shuffle. You can get instructions
via the manual. iPod Shuffle Manual. If you want to put music into the iTunes library that you already have on your PC, just go to 'File', then 'Add folder to library' and it will scan that folder and every sub-folder and put the music in the library. Be careful if your songs don't have ID3 tags otherwise iTunes won't be able to work out what they are and your songs will not be catagorized well at all.
