C5 is a Main Charge Wire Error. Either the main charge wire is broken or the plastic blocks are arching out.
Open the front door, and look for a gray handle that will slide out towards you. This is usually located above the drum.
The main charge wire is a very very thin wire that charges the drum in the copy process. If the wire is broken, no copies can be made. To make sure that this is the problem, leave the charge stick out, and close the front door and let the machine warm up. If it does, then you have located the problem.
If it still show a C5 error, the the problem is in the Transfer Charge coronas which is located under the drum.
