Hello Get into its menu, come to 'Manage Maps' window. There you can see 'Change Language' option, with an emblem showing three country flags. Tap on this emblem, and select the language. For more details go to page [35] of its user manual. If you haven't the user manual with you now, inform me your Email address by FixYa comment box. I've the downloaded manual to your GPS, and I'll send a copy of it to you by return mail. I can't send it to you by this window,as this window does not allow me to uplaod PDF files by it. OK.
Go HERE and download tomtom home, it will give you the options for all available voices for your unit.
just run the tomtomt home after you download it, once the programa is running, hook up your tomtom via the usb cable to your computer that was supplied with your tomtom and click on the add voices tab and follow the directions.
It will only tell you the names of the streets if you use the COMPUTER voice. The other voices will not announce street names. So go to your voice selection and pick the computer voice...either male or female.
same problem, have been told that Tomtom is saying nothing until he has his lawyer present, after being arrested for stealing a pig, Sorry for the joke. My GO720 will not speak through internal speaker but have got round problem using radio or external speaker. (mine is out of warenty)
