SOURCE: need to find a wire harness to in my radio

Car harness adapters can be purchased in Best Buy or Crutchfield just give them the make & year of your car. Try Metra and call to see if they still make Universal harnesses for JVC so you can connect it to a universal harness to your type of car. Just click them together to avoid soldering or taping with electrical tape.

I use to work for Circuit City Roadshop and they(METRA) only made it Exclusively for Circuit City and nobody else in 2008.

When i go to connect my power supply nothing happens the jvc will not turn on, but when i connect my old pioneer it works, what is going on?

just because the connectors are the same, nothing says they are WIRED the same. you could very well be sending power to nothing.

Can I hook up my mp3 player to my jvc kd-s23 car stereo? If so, how?

I am thinking you can connect with a 3.5 m m. Jack, with left right input jacks connected to it. Going to give it a try. Also might try the phone the same way.

The display went out on my JVC KD-S23 CD player. When it's dark, I shouldn't be able to see anything coming from it when the car is turned off, but all the buttons and the screen is faintly illuminated,...

If it were a FORD radio... I would suggest tht you rplace the illumination bulb....
But , I have had JVC stereos that have done this to me ... and so I am suggesting that you check the ground wire... as it is most likely the problem here...

I need a wiring diagram for a JVC KD-R805 installation

For putting it into what kind of car? Or did you mean the radio harness itself? Red is constant 12v, yellow is Accessory 12v, Black is the ground. Solid blue is power antenna, blue with a stripe is a 12v accessory meant to power the amp (AKA AMP REM), White is front left speaker, gray is front right. Purple is rear left, green is rear right and any of the white, gray, green or purple wires with a black stripe is the negative for that speaker. If you post a reply with a vehicle model and year I can give you the factory wire harness colors as well.

Connect jvc kd-lh1150 in elantra 2001... different connector

Hello claude_bouth,You need a vehicle specific aftermarket connector generally called a "wiring harness". Your JVC came with a plug that fits the back of the receiver with "pigtail" wires which you splice to the harness wires. http://www.SonicElectronix.com sells the Metra 70-7301 which appears to be the correct harness for your Elantra. You can tap into the wiring of the car harness and splice the wires by function into the appropriate car wires, but using the aftermarket vehicle specific wiring harness is a lot easier and you don't need to disturb the vehicle wiring in any way, just plug into it. It also makes it possible to re-install the factory radio if you ever need to do so. If you choose to tap and splice, you can find your Elantra's wiring color code at http://www.modifiedlife.com.Hope this helps.
