SOURCE: quick battery drain

If you are using "rechargeable" duracells, use the camera's discharge function to fully drain your cells. Then re-charge them and try again. If you are using the Duracell 15 minute charger leave them in there for ~3 hours, there is a 15 minute quick charge cycle, then a 10 minute cooldown, then a 1.5-2 hour trickle-top off. If you start with a fully discarged cell this will give it a really good full charge and you chould get many more shots out of the camera.

If you are using Duracell "alkaline" non-rechargeable batteries then the # of shots you are getting is about right. Alkalines are really for emergency use only in this camera.

SOURCE: LED Flashlight Battery Drain Problem

This particular flashlight uses a microchip that consumes the power of the batteries, whether in use or not. Loosen the case to where the batteries go in, so there is no contact with polarity. Or just take the batteries out completely and replace them for actual use.

First of all green water can arrise from a lot of different situation.
Low chlorine is one of them coupled with the crappy filter that comes with the intex pools it does not filter enough.

Start with getting your salt level to 3000ppm
any lower than 2700 and you will not generate enough chlorine and any higher than 3500 and you could go cloudy or trigger high salt alarms

you need to get the salt test kit that reads in #'s not color the color ones has to much of a variance
once your salt is at 3000 clean your cell then filter filter filter

I run my filter 24/7 if it is not generating chlorine I am filtering.

Clean your cartridge every few days
I have had the same 2 cartridges for this being my 4th season and have never been green or replaced the filters.
Also I reccomend a non foaming algecide

Just follow directions on bottle

Duracell 1000 flashes once. Nothing more. Doesn't work in any of the three modes.

Camera says batteries low, replace

Make sure you are using fresh batteries when you are replacing them. If you are using rechargeable batteries, let them charge until the indicator light on the base unit turns green. If the indicator light on the base unit flashes red, the batteries are no longer good.
Cheap batteries form dollar stores (Sunbeam, or store brand name) do not last long, and digital point and shoots eat up those types in a few uses. Best to use Duracell or Energizer batteries for Cameras. They dont have to be Lithium, or digi camera specific batteries. Those are expensive and unnecessary. Basic Duracell or Energizer will do.

Duracell d4 alkaline life expectancy

According to Duracell the shelf life of MN batteries is very good... It is dependent on temperature.... At say 20 deg Celcius LESS than 4% per year and at human body temperature (38 degrees) is still LESS than 10% ... But actual life may depend on the physical corrosion of the casing and be dependend on storage....

How do I stop the anti-theft device red blinking light? Car is off and locked and from the window can see the red light blinking.

the red light drain 0.001amp. from you battery.need 1000 hour to drain 1 amp. test the battery if is any good. do drain test on the car.rust and short will drain battery overnight.after market equipment, light in the trunk or glove box, under hood light etc. disconnect the battery and install amp meter. do the drain test. your computers uses 0.2-0.4amp when sleep.anything over 0.5-.6 amp is bad. after you connect the amp meter give 1min. to turn all systems to sleep mode.Is normal the first minute to be high drain.
ones you know something is wrong disconnect the fuses one at the time and note if any changes. if the fuse you disconnect turn the amps low note what system is connected to the fuse and you will know were is the problem

How do I remove batteries that are corroded in a 3 "d" cell maglight?

I would find out the battery brand, leave the batteries in the re, and ship the whole thing back to duracell for a new flash light and a bunch of batteries. They always replace anything their batteries destroy, and they are good about it. I had a maglight that I couldn't get the batteries out of, and got a brand new one, and a bunch of batteries. Hope this helps.

Quick battery drain

No sorry to say this is normal for this camera! you may want to look for rechargable lithium batterys (they will last longer in a high drain device such as your camera!
