You will find usually 3 torx drive screws on the bottom of the tool, remove them and the pad comes off. The replacement pad number is 151416-01 list 27.49. Let me know if I can help further

EVERYONE WANTS TO MAKE EVERYTHING PLASTIC THESE DAYS. REMOVE PLASTIC LINE AND REPLACE WITH 1/4" FLEXIBLE COPPER ( ANY KIND ) JUST PICKUP A SMALL ROLL AT A HARDWARE STORE. MAKE SURE YOU GET A COUPLE OF FITTINGS, NUTS AND/OR FERRELS. HOPE THIS HELPS, JODY

I have replaced velcro on various sanders , you just take the original velcro off and make sure that the base is very very clean, use turps and metho to clean it with then buy some velcro from a good hardware supplier and really good glue [two pack epoxy is best ] and simply cut to size and then just glue new velcro onto the base of the orbital sander
