It keeps turning off

Hello

Try recharging the battery if the MP3 player is not turning on. To recharge the battery, connect one end of the USB cable to the USB port on the MP3 player and the other end to an open USB port on your computer.

Press the "Menu" button if the player keeps turning off periodically. Select the "Settings" option in the Menu and select "Power."

Select "Auto Power Off" and turn off the sleep settings.

Try turning the player back on. If it does not turn on, perform a reset. To do this, press and hold the "Power/Menu" button for at least 15 seconds.

How do you turn it off? please...Philips MP3 player

Turn the MP3 player device on. The power button on most Philips MP3 players will be in the shape of a circle. The button will have a symbol that displays a circle with a slash through it. Hold this button down for approximately three seconds or until the MP3 player's screen begins to light up.

Power off your MP3 device. The same button that powers the device on will allow you to power it off as well. Press and hold the power button down until the screen goes blank. This will be your indication that the device is off.

Reformatted error

Do your files open when you hook it up to the USB in your computer? If so copy and save them there then try reformatting the player's drive.
If you can't copy the files to your computer, go to http://tinyurl.com/y5p85or, (click on "proceed to site") and pick a file recovery app. Use that to recover your music files to your computer, then try reformatting your mp3 player. If it reformats and works OK you're lucky --if not at least you will have copied your music.

I formatted my i-bead mp3 player.. i got a message "refomatted error" i couldn't heare any songs how to solve this problem

There are two ways to format an Mp3 player - one on the computer itself, and one in Windows Media Player. Both methods will end up erasing all the songs on the player, but the player will be "good as new" after that. Sometimes reformatting in this manner will override the player's native formatting and cause problems - this can be reversed in most cases by updating the player's firmware. Firmware upgrades are available from most manufacturers' websites.

WARNING: The following procedures will erase all songs on the player.

Check if the file system is NTFS. If yes, format it to FAT or FAT32. - Connect player to computer, double-click my computer, right click on icon of mp3 player and select format. This only applies to Windows-based computers.
You can also format the player in Windows Media Player itself:
Connect your Mp3 player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "name of Mp3 player here 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.

Comments: - 1. Connect the player to the PC using the USB cable. 2. Open Windows Media Player. 3. Go to the Sync or Devices tab and delete all content from the player. 4. Go to the Tools menu and select Options. 5. Select the Devices tab, highlight the ILO or Siren player and click on Properties. 6. Uncheck the box "Create Folder Hierarchy on Device" Good Luck ..... dont forget to rate me......

How to on an COBY mp3-c7095??? can u help me?

1. See if you have a power switch on the side of your MP3 player. If your power switch is on the side, slide the switch up to put it in "Play" mode. To turn the player off, slide the switch up and hold for several seconds. If your power switch is not on the side, proceed with step 2.
2. Look at the top of the Coby MP3 player. Many Coby players that support video have their power switch on the top. Some are in the shape of a bar, and some have a small round button. If you have a bar switch, slide the bar to the right to turn the power on. If you have a round power button on the top of the player, press and hold the button until the player turns on.

My I-bead mp3 was formatted accidentally...

Your songs are most likely gone, formatting erases all of the data on the player.
Always back up your data on a seperate disk. Good luck.
