Hi, greetings. Please, I want to buy whirlpool WWCR 9430 - 9kg load 6th Sense from a seller on eBay, she said "when trying a wash cycle the F26 code comes up 5 - 10 mins into the cycle and machine stops. So its currently not going through wash cycle due to fault code". I want to find out if its an easy fix.

SOURCE: Whirlpool 6th sense awm8163 programes never stops now cannot get it to work at all

The pump is at the lower left of the front of the machine covered by a white plate. Use a bowl to catch any remaining water when opening the screw thread inside and then clean and replace. If it is truely beyond repair then a new filter pump can be bought from ebay for £3 or thereabouts.

I have just drained mine manually in this way and am going to run it empty with soda crystals to glean a few more days use whilst the new pump arrives.

Good luck :)

SOURCE: getting FE error on our

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
I suspect that stands for 'Filter Error' so I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor/pump lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
Here are my complete and generic guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!). These panels are either held on by (plasic) screws or will just pull off. Most filters are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play.

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT.
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

I have an F26 code and my washer won't do anything and cannot find code in the manual what does it mean? It's a whirlpool duet ht

Hi, This F26 error means "door switch error" If the door has not been opened for three consecutive cycles or the door switch is open while the door is locked for more than 5 seconds
Do the following to fix the problem:
Open and close the door
Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic test or any cycle
Push the door and check if its completely closed

hi,
looks like there is some friction between the main and outer tub of your machine. there is generally a mechanism for smooth spinning of the machine in good rpms for wash-spin cycle. this could be because of rust formation, or mud collection. please refer your manual and remove the 3 screws behind the lower front plastic cover, and look for rust formation. scrape the rust and try spinning again.

cheers
