You don't set the time. You set the Time Zone and it sets itself.

What model is YOUR clock?

This site lists several models of La Crosse wall clocks with downloadable instructions.

My Smart Gear STG-5939-KB, Weather Station does not indicate the correct day. Instructions say it will adjust to the date. The date is 5/4 but the dat says TUE. Any ideas?

Your Smart Gear Weather Station may be defective. I have an atomic lock that indicate DST all year round but changes time correctly. One other thought: your weather station may be set for the wrong year.

I have a weather station 9N14 V030U and I can't get the outside temperature to program. We just changed the batteries in both units.

  • Remove all batteries
  • Install replacement batteries in the outside unit
  • After allowing time for the outside unit to initialize and begin transmitting data, install batteries in the inside unit. You should see the outside temperature displayed.

What does an OF symbol mean in the indoor temp window with no readings from the outside?

Based on a different, but similar, LaCrosse model (the WS-8611), it would appear to be an OverFlow indication, meaning that it's out of range. Here's a quote from that unit's manual:

SPECIFICATIONS:
Temperature measuring range:
Indoor : 14.2F to +139.8F with 0.2F resolution
(-9.9C to +59.9C with 0.1C resolution)
("OF.L" displayed if outside this range)
Outdoor : -39.8F to +139.8F with 0.2F resolution
(-39.9C to +59.9C with 0.1C resolution
("OF.L" displayed if outside this range)

It is likely that their convention remains the same across models, but I don't work for them, so I can't guarantee it.

My remote sensor Tx14TH-LCD-B started flashing several days ago and I have gone thru the factory reset new batteries and decided to buy a new sensor then discovered they have been discontinued along with...

I assume you have tried removing the batteries at both ends, reinstalling batteries at the sensor end then the indoor end, waiting without touching anything until the outdoor temp registers and heaving a sigh of relief as things are back to normal. I also assume since the word atomic is in the header that you have an atomic clock function. If nothing works or doesn't work right you probably need to replace the system.

I have a much simpler LaCrosse system which, at this moment, is showing an outside temp of 56 degrees BUT the clock doesn't work and failed early on. I share your frustration.
