Tmobile Wing won't stop scrolling

My T-mobile Wing keeps scrolling uncontrolably on its own and won't stop. It will stop a little when I push a button on the phone, but will not if I touch the screen. It is also making my backlight stay on so I always have to keep my phone charged. Does anyone have any idea on what I can do? Please help!

My T-mobile Wing keeps scrolling uncontrolably on its own and won't stop. it stops when i press a direction button it stops. but it soon starts again have tried ever reset and taking out the batterie all that good stuff and no sucsess

same thing with me, the round button seems to be "stuck" on down, when holding the phone upright.

Mine does the same thing, it's less than a month old. Taking it back to t-mobile today. Hopefully they will fix this, or replace the phone. I've cleaned the touch screen with no luck

I've done that a few times and it doesn't fix it - and my button that goes down doesn't work. I bought this used so its likely the same problem the other person had!

Could be the touch screen, fold a piece of paper in half and run it around the screen and make sure nothing is under the lip.

At power up, tv scrolls uncontrolably through channels, power light flickers

1. Take remote control far away from tv - 3rd or fourth room. Then switch on tv. If uncontrollable scrolling stops , then cause may be remote button (Ch+ or Ch-) has got dirt inside and its shorting.

2. If taking remote far away doesn't stop scrolling then (Ch+ or Ch-) button on front pannel has shorted. Take a cutter plier and care fully remove button from its circuit board. ( If you know desoldering, it is far better than cutting). If scrolling stops then you can operate channel change with remote.

TMobile wing dials the last number multiple times automatically.

I think maybe the dial button is messed up (Under the key).
You know how sometimes when something stuck in certain key of ur pc keyboard, it will keep typing that letter?!
You might just need clean under the dial button.

My tmobile wing keeps freezing up when I try and text

It took me a long *** time to fix my wing, but this is the only way i found. shout out to my homie muhammed for showing me:

hold both left and right toggle button simultaneously, and use stick to press the reset button. continue to hold buttons....

it will reformat. press send to wipe the phone.

then, use active sync to completely wipe the micro sd memory card once wipe is complete

this will delete the static charge virus

lastly, go to tmobile website and download the rom software upgrade.

reconnect the wing to your pc

charge the phone past 50%

click on the new software upgrade icon and follow instructions.

the screen will show 3 lines, green red and blue with the new upgrade version numbers.

once complete, you have completely upgraded the tmobile wing to the fullest extent

if this does not work, then sadly enough.... your problem is from dropping your phone too many times and causing the components to become loose connections. aka the sliding keyboard.

i also noticed that the only thing stopping the keyboard from stopping is a tiny square piece of plastic. but then again, this phone was crafted in china. chinese plastic isn't the most sturdy composite material.

If you still have tmobile as a carrier, call them and tell them you are going to India or somewhere where there Tmobile doesn't have a big presence. Tmobile will unlock your device for free. As long as you have been a customer for 30 days or so.

Slow Responses

Do a backup with PIM Backup and them hard reset the phone (Factory default)

To hard reset the wing: Hold both soft keys down while hitting the reset button with your stylus (the little hole on the side). Should bring up a black screen with some text. Press "send" key to finish process.

*Note it takes a couple of tries to get all of the buttons pressed together. May not work first try.

I have lost a button on my wing phone ( the button under the talk button)

I have had the same issue twice now, both times I was able to buy replacement buttons on e bay for about 10 dollars, however there is no instructions, and I think it was my fault it broke the second time because they are so delicate and difficult to replace without breaking a clip. However they are cheap and easy to find on e bay if you wanna chance the repair yourself!!

Button stuck?

or course, powercycle....if that doesnt work, a master reset will be needed.....because it sounds like there might be somehitng stuck on the screen in the corner for make it scroll around, clean the screen with a qtip and rubbing alchohol.....if that doesnt work, try a software reset. with the phone off, you will have to press and hold the button withthe lines on them and press the power button.....release the powerbutton.....the phoen should turn on and go to a black screen with white writing....release the soft keys here and press the green call button...it will reset the phone, but in turn, you will loose your info that is not stored on the sim or media card...

this is hard to do, so if you can navigate through the phone go to start, setttings, system, clear storage. it does the same thing. good luck :)

PHONE JUST STOPPED WORKING

use the factory charger and if you are call tmobile and tell them u want to do a hanset exchance!!!
