Question about Toshiba 32av700e 32" Lcd Multi-system Pal/ntsc

1 Answer

Toshiba 32AV700E TV have sound, no image. Backlight working. How to troubleshoot and repair? Thanks.

Hi, my tv is toshiba 32AV700E. My tv will display picture fine for some time e.g. random, 15mins, 30 mins, 1hour etc, after which the color will be discolored and slight double image seen. After tried to clean the LVDS cable and put in, the image now looks very bad and may turn completely black, with sound and back light still working. May I know what part is faulty? Thanks

SOURCE: Toshiba Color Television....now picture is black and white

Good day.
The missing color issue can be resolved by resoldering the loose contacts in your units circuitry. Your unit is still worth to be fixed.

Response is highly appreciated.

Westinghouse SK26H240S - Sound works but no picture?

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply. Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

No color picture on Toshiba CF36G40

You need to go to the menu screen where the contrass, color etc are located. Scroll each option and one of them will add the color, one of them is probably at 0 so you need to ensure that it's added

Problem on CRT board, this is the board on the back of the tube. It has a open transistor for the green.
