My Magic DWA-1620s displaying only PU every time I try to start it. I searched the manual, and no such code I found, need help!

For repair I have found an amazing online resource to help me fix my own appliances. It is called Repair Clinic and can be accessed at this URL: http://www.repairclinic.com/
The Repair Clinic (no I don't work there and I don't own stock) has troubleshooting directions on there searchable website and suggested causes for your units problem (search will require part number and you choose which problem closely resembles your situation). The best thing is they have very good videos on how to do the repair (DIY). I have had great success fixing my appliances with no previous experience (I am handy with fixing things though).
The manufacturer probably will send you a manual if you are chatty and talk about how great their products are. I have had success with this in the past.
Other than that I usually will do a online search with the specific thing I am looking for... In this case it would be, "free manual for my magic chef refrigerator freezer - model CTB1720ARW". I found so much info on just typing in the CTB #.
Have you tried Sears Direct? or the current owners of Magic Chef which I mentioned above?

go over to the bottom of the where the clock is on taskbar pace the mouse over the the little computer it shows what does it say exactly?

if its still searching right click and hit repair. If that dosent work then right click again and click on view wireless connections

same issue here on a winxp machine with sp2


having hard time to update to sp3 as the dlink DWA 125 requierments ask ...

so i tested the DWA 125 usb on a windows 7 machine and Iam having the same issues, windows not finding the adapter ....

Dlink guys post a link for solution ...?? not recommending otherwise

Try downloading and installing the drivers for your operating system (Windows 7, Mac OSX, etc)

To Install (Windows)

1. Extract the files using a .zip program such as winzip or winrar

2. Go to: Start > Control Panel > Device Manager

3. Try to locate your device
If found, right click and select properties
Select: Driver > Update Driver > Browse My Computer > Let Me Pick > Have Disk > Browse
Navigate to the extracted driver file and select the .inf in that folder

I found the manual online for the URC-7710, but i do not see a code for an Acer TV.

Try a code search by following these steps:

1. Turn on TV.
2. Hold down the Magic button, the red light will blink once then twice, release the Magic button.
3. Press 991, the red light will blink twice.
4. Press power button once.
5. Aim remote at TV and press the Channel Up button repeatedly (up to 150 times) until TV turns off. Note: if you skipped the code that turned the TV off you can go back by pressing the Channel Down button once.
6. Press the Magic button to store the code for your TV set.

Sorry I don't have a solution - but am experiencing the exact same problem! The D-Link Connection wizard tells me "Wireless adapter not found! Please insert it now." when it is already installed, inserted and picking up signals well. Just disconnects from the internet after a second or two every time.
Did you find any solution that could help? I'd love to hear it!

If You know the code:
1. Turn radio On
2. Display say "Code in"
3. Enter the Code by memory station buttons (4 digits)

If You enter wrong code for the first time:
1. Turn radio off.
2. Turn radio on
3. Press and hold the band "~" button
4. Display shows ====
5. Wait till display say "code in"
6. Enter the code by mem. station buttons.(4 digits)

Important:
You mast wait by Radio ON in = = = = condition,
and not in - - - -!
The max. waiting time is 90 min.

TIP:
Tested by PU-1570A Eeprom 93C46
1. Radio Off
2. Press and hold the Band "~" Button.
3. Turn the radio ON
4. Enjoy!

it happens to me also, always cutting off the signal, i just bought new one other brand and it works fine
