Fl studio wont give any sound feedback when i record with lambda

I get the sound feedback from the lexicon lambda on my cpu speakers but it just wont record on fl studio. that is the program i am using. i use an empty sound patch and it records and shows the keys that i am playing but it doesnt have any sound. and when i use a sound patch like a kick or snare or a piano sound it is only that one sound from the program. im trying to get the external sound to record on the program and i was told i dont need a microphone, which seems true seeing as how the sound extracts from the speakers.

SOURCE: Lexicon Lambda on Mac

Hi, I just bought one today and am using a condenser mic through the lamdba. I booted up apple logic - plugged in the device and it found it as a usb audio device. You need to use the headphone jack on the lamdba. good luck

SOURCE: Lexicon Lambda not detected

the usb could be the problem. when you plug it in does your comp make a noise if not it is the usb if it does than the drivers are not in sometimes its a program problem try going to start-mycomputer-(cd/dvd drive right click on it and click explore. find the file labled drivers and install them first than install the program hope this helps.

Driver

The only thing I can think of is that maybe you have installed xp drivers and software instead of vista software the vista software can be downloaded from the lexicon Lambda website.

Lexicon Omega will not play any sound on Windows XP

one of several install steps (the steps seem to vary depending on which manual you can find) mention checking your sound device setup in control panel. ON one machine I installed the sound devices were not affeted. On a 2nd PC they were changed from drivers installed with PC to the Lambda driver

Win XP settings->control panel->Sounds and Audio Devices then select Audio tab. Make sure the three areas are set up to use your PC's default drivers and not lambda's.

You may need to verify this again when reconnecting the Lambda USB cable. Sort of new but ran into this "issue" as well.

Found info in Lambda Studio Software Installation Guide I downloaded, step B following driver install.
