SOURCE: my maytag front loader will not drain water oe comes on the control panel

On the 9700s it's even easier - three screws on the front bottom panel below the door, then use your hand to unscrew the large round handle in the front center. When you can't unscrew any more, pull gently and the filter / catcher will come out.

It's amazing how much stuff mine held - 4 breastfeeding shields, a pencil, a pen, a fake mouse, and lots of grey gunk.

Screw it back in, put the panel back on, and you're in business.

SOURCE: Maytag side by side freezer drain icing

This is a pretty common problem. Sometimes the defrost cycle is not long enough because the freezer setting were too low. But most times this begins slowly until the drain finally closes and then the water has no where to go but the inside of freezer or refrigerator. I have more help topics to prevent a constantly happening over and over again. But you may have a blockage down-line from the freezer. So until you can melt the ice and pour a warm solution of water and clorox in the drain and it end up in the pan below the refrigerator I will hold off on that until I hear back from you, Thanks, Sea Breeze

How do I find emergency flasher unit on my 1988bronco 2?

most vehicle use the flasher unit as an emergency flasher light. By pressing the hazard light switch, it powers the flasher unit and connects all flashers together. If it has a light module , have it checked out or check the hazard switch itself.

Why isn't the soap coming out of the despencer

Check dispenser seating, turn off unit, unplug unit. Reseat dispenser, plug in unit, turn unit on, wait one minute, press sprayer to test. While your at it clean the two filters. The filters need to be cleaned after each use. One is located under the Water Tank Cap and the other is under the Flow Indicator. Bissell Consumer Care 1-800-237-7691

Keep getting "Target Overflow" error message, even

you may have a bad ROM. If you have a multiple target unit, switch the source from the ROM to one of writers and try copying that way, if it copies then it confirms that the ROM is defective.
If you have a Single target unit, check your master disc under disc info, depending on which controller you have it should be under utility or disc info. Once in disc info it should tell you the size of your master disc, for DVD-R it should be under 4488MB, for DVD+R it should be under 4482MB. Then double check the master in the PC just to confirm.

No hazard or turning signal

check fuses. If OK, replace flasher unit. the flasher is a cylinder-shaped devide under your dashboard below the instrument panel, left of the steeringcolumn. It should pull straight out of the connector. You can buy a new one at the parts store and even at WALMART, etc. Make sure to get the one that fits your car--take the old one with you.

My washer died, but I am not sure if it is a belt, motor, etc. How do I open the unit to look?

  1. It could be many things that would cause a washer not power up. The model # of your unit would help.
  2. At the bottom of the unit on the front edges look for 2 srews to remove. If you have them, remove the screws , lift the panel foward and unclip the front.
  3. Under the top are 2 bolts, remove them and the top lifts upward. Be careful not be hit with lid .
  4. If no screws at the top of the unit in the front under the lid top. Use a blade of a butter knife, push the 2 clifs (1 on each side of unit) inward releasing the front panel pull the panel outward and lift up to release.
  5. There are 2 bolts under the top. Remove the bolts and lift upward on the top careful not to be popped in the head with the lid.
  6. THis gets your unit open.
  7. To check out your unit, first check voltage at outlet, you need 120 volts.
  8. Listen for clicking of the timer, turn the dial to different spots.
  9. Lid switch shorts causing unit to stop, it is behind timer and under the lid.
  10. Some units have a micro-switch behind the timer, 21 amps. They short out easily.
  11. The motor will short out this will make a humming noise.
  12. The power cord may be damaged not letting power to the unit.
  13. The model number helps you locate the problem faster.

I have a George Forman GRP46R. I'm having a drip tray problem where the grease is going under the unit and then dripping from the bottom. Some of it goes in the tray but the majority of it goes under the...

Since I accidentally left my drip pan inside the unit and preheated the unit without checking, I am now without a drip pan. The unit really heats up fast and likes to melt plastic. Anyhow, I used a cookie sheet underneath that has a lip around it to catch the drippings. I would suggest that you place your whole unit on a cookie tray so no matter where the grease runs out it will go on the cookie sheet and not your counter.
