You have done what i would have suggested, the Bose Wave unit will need to back to Bose for service, and there is a good chance they will need to replace the laser pickup assembly and cost should be considered even thoe it is top of the line.

The Bose Wave Radio doesn't have a CD player. The Bose Wave Radio/CD does.

It will only play standard music CD's with standard CD Audio on them.

With the typos and all it's just a guess, but I'll assume you mean the Bose Wave radio.

I suspect the CD Mode button has been pushed so that the mode is set to REPEAT.

Your radio has a bad laser. Available from Bose only. You can try Electronic Engineers, Chicago. 773-202-0909.

make sure that there are no errors and that the Cd's are not pirated, If so play them on your PC and check.
Other wise there is a conflict if all other Cd's play well on the bose.

Unfortunately Bose will not release their schematics or parts lists, effectively giving them a monopoly on repairs. Their web site, www.bose.com, offers to repair most Wave radios for $100 or to give owners of broken sets a $200 allowance towards the purchase of a new Wave. Before spending the big bucks though, you might want to check out the new HD radios. Better sound and a MUCH lower price.
