Water is leaking from the freezer side of the my side by side.

It seems to be coming from the freezer side and it's not hooked up to a water line even though it has the ice and water option.

The drain is clogged up. Remove all the ice from the bottom of the freezer. Then locate the drain hole at the back of the freezer. Using a turkey baser force hot water down the drain until it is clear. Then mix baking soda with water and pour it down the drain. Hope this helps!!

Kenmore water hose

If it is not connected to the freezer unit - it cannot make ice.. Ice is frozen water - you have connected a separate line that seems to have nothing to do with the fridge unit.

The freezer door leaks water from the water/ice dispenser. The dispenser fills up with water. Items in the freezer door almost seem as if they never freeze. All items in the door are much less frozen...

Leaky dispenser-------
Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out of it and see if you have a slow drip. Try the dispenser to see if it's just drips after use.

Frs26zth side by side refrigerator is leaking water from under the freezer side - the water line and the ice maker are not hooked up. So what could be the problem

Hello there:- I presurme the water is leaking out underneath the drawer on the freezer compartment. Since there is no other prosibility where the water come from . So it must be the defrost water not running down the drain tube to the drain pan through the drain hole on the freezer side because it is blocked . Clean out this drain pan hole and the drain tube see you can sort out the problem. God bless .

Leaking water on floor, even without water hooked up. Seems to be coming from under the fridge

Your freezer defrost drainage tube may not be routed to the evaporator tray under the refrigerator. If this is the case, humidity condensed from the freezer, then drained down the tube will be dripped onto the floor.
The second theory is that the drainage tube could be blocked. Humidity in the freezer is removed from the air sent to a drainage tray, at the rear of the freezer, which has a drainage tube which carries the water to an evaporation tray at the bottom of the refrigerator unit, on my GE. if the drainage tube is blocked, the water will find another route. Check the drainage tube after you find it. First try inspection. if there is standing water in tray in the freezer, use a flexible wire to clear the tube.
Good luck!
