My travel pro scooter mobility put a new throttle on it, still feel 10 time. What can it be?

trace the cable to the connection on the motor.check that throttle lever is connected to cable,and lever moves when throttle is turned.cable may have broken.

Trace the throttle cable from the handle to the(carb or throttle body).Either the cable is broken,it has come off at one end,or the throttle handle or a piece of linkage is broken or loose.(this is a pretty basic problem-you can do it!)

My reverse goes faster than my forward what's wrong

Sounds like the throttle is connected backwards. The parking brake maybe hanging up. if the scooter is run for 10 mins forward, then carefully check with your hand that the parking brake is warm and not hot. Hot indicates brake slowing you down and making the motor work too hard. For other answers to Scooter Problems goto my free app.

hi, Five times is related to a brake issue in relation to the free-wheel lever.. look at the micro switch that moves in relation to the freewheel lever, it has a button type that presses in , that can stick and not release fully ...

The fault description is :

Throttle control lever not at centre position
at start up.
Return the throttle control lever to centre
position, turn Travel Scooter off then back on

so what happened is that the throttle is no longer centre , look at the base of the throttle stem, a cross head , now that should look straight at the the seat stem, be in aligh with it, if's it off slight you will get that fault so you need to adjust the lever so the pot is dead centre again..

I need immediate help with a problem with my wife's GO GO Elite Traveller 3-wheel scooter. With a fully charged battery, in about 10 to 20 minutes of operating, there is a clicking noise in the area of...

Check the area at the rear of the motor where the brake is attached after operating for a while if you can feel heat or hot at the brake motor area then the brake is sticking causing excess drag this in turn drains the batteries quicker and can be the cause of the clicking sound you hear. If the battery is not getting hot or the motor then the problem could be in the transaxle. Block the rear wheels off the ground and have the wife engage the throttle if you still hear the clicking noise place your hand on the gearbox /transaxle to see if you can feel a vibration in time with the clicking If you feel a vibration then the transaxle/gearbox will need to be changed If you see that the brake is dragging then the brake will have to be replaced If Medicare paid for the wife's scooter then they will pay for 80% of the repair. You can contact the provider that sold your wife the scooter to see if they do repairs or you can contact Repair xpress @1-877-581-3733 to see if they have a tech in your area Hope this helps you

My scooter sometimes seems to slow down for no reason on full power. It is like something it holding it back then all of a sudden it is working fine.

Hi. Could be a couple of faults. The throttle pot ( Wig Wag ) could be worn. While you are driving the machine, try moving the ends of the lever up or down slowly, ( not in and out as you usually do for driving ), and see if that makes the speed vary.
Another problem could be faulty battery or motor connectors. I have replaced or removed many battery connectors because of this. Also check battery or motor wirs where they connect to the controller.
If you feel unsure about checking the connectors, get a good serviceman to do it for you. Good luck. Neil.
