Panasonic KX-T7633 I made a mistake and while trying to program a button I cleared the function on the button that belonged to our main line (Line1). Now when I pick up the phone to call someone or when it rings, there is no light on the button for Line 1, but the Intercom light turns green. It makes it impossible for me when I put someone on hold to Intercom a co-worker and talk to them in order to announce the call. How do I make line 1 to be back on the old button? Note that we have 4 lines here and the other 3 work just fine. If I press the button that belonged to the main line, the phone goes dead (no sound at all). Thank you for your help!

O.K. I found the answer on this one in a reply given by cnavarro to an old post in 2008 on this blog. I needed to pres PROG, the button to be programed and then 01 (since I needed to program the main line - 01).

answer found on an old post on this blog (from Oct. 2008) given by cnavarro.

Press PROG, the button to be programmed, and then 01 (for first line), or 02, 03, etc. (based on which line you need to program).

You're in luck. Without picking up the handset, press PROGRAM the line 1 button, and dial 0 001 (or 01) and STORE. Press PROGRAM to exit.

If I "guessed" right, on your TDA system, you have line 1 back.

Trying to get phone numbers programmed on a Panasonic KX-T7633. I can store them in a directory, but am having trouble assigning them to the "Flexible CO buttons".

It's a trick. Assign the button, then press PROG the button, and dial 2 then 9, or whatever your access code is for an outside line, then the number and ENTER. You can press more buttons and dial more numbers, or press EXIT to quit.
