I have a newish netbook and the screen turns completely white.

Most often these are the consequences of falling or hitting the screen.

Check the video output voltage to CRT board. It might be absend.

Pls change the Screen .. the Screen is bad..

the lcd cable that joins the screen to the motherboard is most probably faulty under AC power input. To fix it you need a new ribbon cable. Samsung will charge to sort it without warranty however the NC10 has a 12 month warranty so check your receipt date. Failing that a local computer shop is likely to be the cheapest option.

If you have to wiggle it on the hinges then it sound like it is a bad ribbon cable connection, it it has somehow broken. There is a thin flat ribbon that runs from the pc to the display. Some patience and care will required. If at a ll possible, take it to an authorized service center, should still be under warranty. Best way to test if from one end to other (pin to pin) for continuity with a volt meter.

Clean or change the Spark Cables>
to cleab the pull them out and with antirust spray and clean

Take it back to the store and get the manufacturers to fix it.

When it turns on can you see any letters? Make sure that the cable is connected. if these dont work get it replaced from warranty.

If it is only 6 months old you probably still have a warranty. This is definitely a hardware issue, and unless you are comfortable taking your new TV apart, I would contact Samsung for repair.
