Only printing partial page

1. Position the first page of your document on the flatbed scanner and close the lid.
   
2. Step 2 In Adobe Acrobat, under the File menu, choose "Create PDF", then "From Scanner" and then "Custom Scan."
   
3. Step 3 In the Scan dialog box, choose your configuration settings. This will vary based on the nature of the document you wish to scan (e.g. color or black & white, images or text).
   
4. Step 4 Click "Scan."
   
5. Step 5 When the scanning process is complete, Acrobat will ask you if you wish to scan more pages into the file. If you do, position the next page on the flatbed scanner and click "Scan More Pages." Otherwise, click "Scan Is Complete."
   
6. Step 6 Repeat the above steps as necessary to scan a multi-page document.

There are many things that will effect how your printer handles paper. The most overlooked being the size of the document or image to be printed. If the image or text bleeds over the edges (left, right, top, bottom) of the document, several sheets can be ejected before the "visible" printing takes place. Often those first few pages look blank, but actually are the outer edges of your picture or text. If you are printing a large picture or large text document, this may be your situation. Try printing a document with just a few words on it (like a small email) as a test.

The second most common culprit is dusty, dirty feed rollers in the printer. Consult your HP 1310 series manual for instructions on cleaning the feed rollers, or consult this general cleaning article on HP.com. HP PSC 1310 All-in-One Printer series cleaning

The type of paper can also effect how many sheets are pulled into the rollers. Is the paper new?, Thick?, Very thin?, or is it the same ol' printer paper you've always used? Either way, remove the stack of paper from the feed tray, "fluff" it by fanning it (like flipping through a book very quickly, or the way Superman counts a stack of money!) and replace. Print a test page.

In HP PSC 1315 printer after replacing new Ink Cartridges the printer always prints Alignment test page every time you turn it ON.To resolve this problem you must complete the alignment process.

Steps

1.Turn the printer ON.
2.Once its ON, it will print the Alignment page. Place the page in the scanner bed correctly.
3.Then Press START SCAN button.
4.The power light will start blinking, wait until the power lights turns solid.
5.Now Alignment process is over.Discard the paper from scanner.
6.Turn the printer OFF and then ON, it will not print that page again.

Note:Please follow this steps every time when you replace the Cartridges.

check the print queue from the computer (printers and faxes, right click printer icon, cancel all documents)

Mille, if you are only able to print internal test pages from this printer I would check the following;
1) USB Cable- make sure the usb cable is connected both to the printer and computer.
2) Print driver - upload the latest version driver from the hp website.

This of course is assuming you are not able to print any documents from you pc.

Did you try contacting HP to return it? Or if it's still under warranty, they should fix it for you.

my printer no function cant print

quiet easy you have to change you print selection to all or everyday printing that way it will print both color and black all together instead of not this and that
