My phone is a samsung e530, i dropped it the other day and now when i turn it on, on the display screen there is only a white screen. but when i shut the phone, the clock on the front is still working.... is there anything i can do to fix it?
Exactly the same thing happened to mine. Unfortunately i have loads of images and media on the phone but cant access it now because the screen is broken. it will be because of the strip problem.if u want to replace display it will cost rs.2000.if it is strip problem,you can stich it by approching a mobile servicing centre.
Fixing it will most likely cost close to getting a new one. Getting a new phone is certainly the easiest answer.
The problem with screen damage, is that most of the screens use lcds (liquid crystal displays) if damaged its hard to repair something that is mostly liquid.
I have the same problem. I dropped it in water about 1 1/2 months ago. But it started working fine. One day i shut it off. and when i turned it back on the screen is white. I looked at the dot and its still white. It started working again but then I accidently dropped it and it messed up again. Anyway to fix it?
