How do I hook up the receiver to the subwoofer to the tv

Here's the Owner's manual -> https://docs.google.com/viewer?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.paradigm.com%2Fdownloads%2FOM-100.pdf.
There are many ways to connect the system depending on your receiver's outputs and the speakers. Usually, the TV L/R output connects to one of the receiver's inputs. The receiver's preamp sub output goes to the powered subwoofer. The receiver's FL/C/FR/SL/SR/RL/RR speaker outputs go to the respective speakers.

How to Replace a paradigm monitor 9 v6 driver

Are you having trouble removing the driver? Just remove it and replace, keeping track of where the positive (red) terminal is and what cable is connected there. The part number should be printed on the back of the magnet.

I have a paradigm ps 1000.it powers on fine when i plug in the rca cable into thoe back of the sub into the low level input it humms supper loud. i tested my cable and used another one same thing. could...

It sounds like it has bad ground on the RCA input assembly, you should Ohm out the ground of the RCA jacks to see if they are all connected.
How about the sender side (the amplifier) ground?

Our ten year old paradigm ps 1200 subwoofer does not power up, although it is plugged in and properly connected to the receiver. Why is this? Is it a lost cause?

Disconnect the power, pull the amplifier out by undoing the screws that hold it in.
When you pull it out, look closely towards the top there is a little 1.8A fuse. It probably has blown.
Replace that and you should be back in business.

PAradigm ps-1000 subwoofer

It turns out its most likely one of the resistors on the PCB on the amplifier plate.

My uncle has had the same problem and managed to replace the resistor and its working as normal now.

Power source

I have PS-1000 and same problem. It looks like power transformer got partially shot (reads 11 V AC instead of 56)
I just don't know if it's all the problem or there is something else. And where I can find replacement transformer?
Not finding what you are looking for?
