I want to scan a picture on my HP officejet K60 and email to my account. I need to know how to set this up

When scanning to e-mail, the scanned image is placed in a newly created e-mail message as an attachment. Complete the message, adding addresses, subject, and text, and send it. Here's how you would do that.

Start the e-mail program and connect to the Internet service. For some programs, doing this first avoids confusion about assigning the e-mail a date and time for delivery.
Load the original in the scanner.
In the HP Director , click Scan to E-Mail . The all-in-one product scans the document, and the scan appears in a new message window of the e-mail program. NOTE: When scanning to e-mail, the scan is saved as .jpg file, which generally results in a smaller file size. Regarding file size, if the .jpg file exceeds the ISP's maximum size, consider rescanning at a lower resolution. Microsoft Office 2000 programs may or may not be supported. For more information on supported programs, check the HP Web site: www.hp.com/go/all-in-one.
Process the e-mail message normally.

The scanner software scans into several e-mail and fax programs. If the program is supported, its name may appear in the Send To list in the Scan window. Some e-mail programs appear in the list as Mail. Good Luck, Don't forget to leave a rating. Thanks Mark

if you can see in control panel \ scanners and imaging devices your scanner device, scan your documents with adob photoshop, import - from - your scanner, or ctrl+i, and save as with format jpeg. then you can attach it and email.
If you can not see scaner in that place what i say, you need reinstall scanner driver for your operating system.

Scan to emai on HP6110 all in one printer

give it up

just take a picture of the emails with your cell phone and then email the picture to yourself or whoever and know you have a copy but honestly why anyone would need to scan emails which are already digital and on computer makes no sense at all.

this is the same as deciding you need to drink some water so you take water and freeze it into cubes then pull them out and let them thaw so you can drink it

When I copy or scan a picture a line is down the center of the picture

When scanning the page it is passed over the scanner, a mark on the scanner will then be copied down the full lenght of the page. I not sure how much access to the scanner you have with this model but you need to examine the scanner for a spot of dirt/correction fluid and clean it, you may need to scratch it off with an old credit card or similar

How do i scan a document and then email it

If you haven't done so, install the cd that comes with the HP Officejet package. Once correctly install, you should go to "All Programs" and locate "HP Solution Center" Click on HP Solution Center, click "Settings", click "Scan settings and preferences", choose either "scan document" or "scan picture" If word document then under File type: locate "PDF(*.pdf) If document is a picture then under File type: locate "JPEG image(*.jpg), click ok. Step 2 Choose between Scan Picture or Scan Document, click accept Step 3 your file is locate under "My scan" Hope that helps
