Dymo LabelMANAGER 210D - Labelmaker - B/W - thermal transfer - Roll - 180 dpi Printer Logo
Posted on Sep 16, 2009

I took out the tape D1 label cassette for the DYMO LabelManager 210D to replace with a new one - "DYMO D1 Label Cassette" - and a black piece broke/came out with the catridge. I don't know where this plastic black piece is supposed to go. It has a square thin yellow pad on on end/side of it (black with triangle recycle symbol on other side) and a **** in middle with number 3 in a circle on other end of where pad is. Looks like end with pad is broken. New tape cartridge won't feed/print.

I know this is too late for the psalter29, but here it is for others with the question. This piece is a cleaning tool. It is stored in the lid to the tape door. There is a small bar in the lid. The slot on the tool slides over the bar in the lid. The soft yellow pad should push down on the tape when the lid is closed. It is a cleaning tool for the print head. The user guide says "gently wipe the pad across the print head". The device should still work without the tool.

All I did was pull the tape through (very gently) so that it could catch on a little roller (right before the slit where the tape exits the device.

I have a DYMO 100+ The label tape won't stop feeding. How do I reset this unit?

It is covered in this link

https://www.google.com/search?q=DYMO+100%2B+reset

To perform a factory reset on a LetraTag printer, just do this:
  • Switch the Letratag printer OFF
  • Remove the tape cassette
  • Press the following 3 buttons together and hold - [ON] + [Numlock] + [J]
  • An erase message will be displayed and the machine will switch off
When you switch it back on it should have been reset and will ask for the language.

Enlarge font dymo handheld labeler

Please make sure the width of the tape is sufficient. You can select it every time you insert the cassette. If you would like step-by-step instructions, feel free to ring us (see dymo.com for numbers).

My Dymo 210D will not feed the tape. The little dealy thing goes around, but the tape doesn't feed.

My works Dymo LabelMANAGER 210D broke down because of a weak construction. The tape cartridge door pulls via a spring the print head towards the roller. Its plastic lever couldn't handle the strain. I repaired it with a peace of locking wire, as you can see on the picture. Greetzzzzz Arno

Dymo letra tag print is unreadable

Solution 1:
Replace the existing batteries with a new/fresh set of alkaline batteries. The print head requires a significant amount of battery power to ensure proper printing on the label. Light print on the label may be an indication that the batteries need to be replaced.

Solution 2:

Replace the existing tape cassette with a new tape cassette. Light printing may be an indication of bad label stock.

Solution 3:

Using the special brush supplied with your labelmaker (located on the inside cover of the cassette compartment) or a cotton swab with a soft solvent (e.g. rubbing alcohol), carefully clean the transporter roller and print head. Dust, dirt, or glue may accumulate on the rubber transport roller or print head inside the cassette compartment and adversely affect print quality.

My dymo letratag prints only bottom half of a name

Your cassette tape has probably become unthread. Take the cassette out of your handheld printer. Make sure that the tape is fed under both claws on each side of the tape. If the tape is only under one claw, your label will not be flat and will only print the bottom half of the letter on your label.

Printing

I was having the exact same problem & had lost my user's manual (you can go on the Dymo.com website to download a replacement). The !!!!!!!!!! display means that there probably is a tape jam. Here's what the manual says:
*!!!!!!in the display indicates that the tape can not be transported *Press any key to return to normal display *Check if there is a tape jam. In that case, life out the cassette and carefully release jammed tape. Cut off excess tape and refit/replace the cassette *If there is no tape jam replace the batteries
