Hi there,
Well first of all you check both of the memory for pics, camera memory and the card (data card) memory.
If the pics are not on both of the memory locations it means the pics are corrupted from the memory location, If you need the pics then you can try to recover them using some recovery software (you also need a computer to recover these files). There are many chances, that the card of your camera is corrupted. so, if this error comes again you try replacing the memory card.

Nothing shows up on the card and the four that were left I presume were on the camera memory - but how do I access specifically the camera memory to make sure ? The camera is acting normal now except the size of pics has gone down to the smallest and wont change up so that indicates to me that it is full and they are somewhere. What is the soft ware to recover ?

Thanks am not sure how to access specifically the camera memory although I think the four pics that were left are on that as nothing shows when checking the card. But the size of pic has now gone down from biggest to smallest and wont change so that idicates camera is full I think. What is the soft ware to recover and is it easy - these were once in a lifetime holiday pics so would be great if I can get them.
