My Kitchen Aid KUDI01FLBL3 is not cleaning my

My Kitchen Aid KUDI01FLBL3 dishwasher is not cleaning my dishes but does get water. I've replaced the water inlet valve and checked to make sure the shut off is on. I've also checked the sprayer arm and it appears to be clear of crud. It does have kind of a grinding sound when on. Help!

Most likely there is debris at the pump impeller. This model has a problem with debris and grease accumulation at the pump inlet. I have no idea how it gets past the screen but it does. Remove the transfer tube on the back wall, the lower sprayer, and screen assembly. Clean out the debris and reverse installation.

Lets see your main wash motor may not be pumping enough water throught he spray arms to clean your dishes. the most imprtant thing is to have the proper water temp. the temp has to be 120 degrees going into the dishwasher if not run your tap water and test the temp.if it takes time for the hot water to get to the tap or dishwasher run the tap first until there is hot water then start you dishwasher

My kitchen aid dishwasher has an off odor and is leaving a residue on the dishes. what should I do?

First perform a vinegar cycle wash in the dishwasher. Pour a cup of vinegar into the bottom of the dishwasher. Keep the temperature at the highest setting possible and perform a wash cycle. Then start using a dishwasher most probably that would solve the problem. If this does not solve the problem then there must be some parts worn out or faulty creating the problem.

There are many probable causes of failure .

To clean the dishes the water temperature is essential. It the water is not hot then the dishes will not be cleaned properly. So check the water temperature.

Also check the filter in your dishwasher.Clean the filter if there is accumulation of debris in the filter.

My dishwasher is a kitchen aid and is leaving all the dishes and glass ware with grime and dirty what to do?

Hi

If you are noticing that the dishes are not clean, then there are a few things to check for. Check the soap powder if it's kept in a dry environment. Also try replacing the powder with something like a gel or liquid. Next thing to check for is the water pressure and fill valve. Check if the water is filling in and the spray arms are throwing the water with enough pressure. Try and listen to the sound if you hear a proper spraying action sound.

If it seems as a low water pressure then check the fill valve. Now, check if dishwasher is draining the water or not. While the dishwasher is working check whether the dishwasher is draining and there is not much left out water after the cycle is complete. Try cleaning the spray arm with a soft brush. The water temperature plays a major role in cleaning of dishes. The temp should be between 125 and 150 F for dishwasher to clean the dishes. Hope this helps...

My dishwasher is leaving a white thick film on my dishes.

Check your inlet water quality. If hardness is noticed add salt as per the directions of the manufacturer. Refer user manual.

Check the rinse aid compartment and fill it with rinse aid as recommended by the manufacturer.

Kitchen Aid Model # KUDP01ILWH2 Dishwasher dishes

Hi.

Using too much rinse aid will not work. Stick to user manual factory prescriptions. If you use correct amount of rinse aid, and the right product for your dishwasher, that is not the cause of the stains.

Ensure that you are using the right detergent along with rinse aid. Check specifications on manual.

Ensure that the drain well is clean.

Ensure that spray arms have enough pressure, check water level and impeller pump.

If you still get stains on dishes, and you are sure that they had been caused by limescale, that means that the water in your house is too hard. This will also damage your appliances in the long term, causing faults due to accumulation of limescale and rust.

The best thing to do is installing a water filtration system on the appliance inlet.Call your local appliance shop or technician to discuss about the problem and purchase a filtration system for your appliance.

Kitchen Aid dishwasher is not cleaning like it use to

Check the following to address this issue further.

1. No water
Make sure you get water to the dishwasher. Check to see if the water shut-off valve (located under the sink) is open. If you get water to the dishwasher, but there is still no water inside during the fill cycle, the problem might be with a faulty water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side), in which case replace the water valve.

2. Not enough water
If there is not enough water, the dishes would not get cleaned. This could be caused by a partially closed water shut-off valve (located under the sink), or a faulty dishwasher water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side).

3. Clogged spay arms
There is usually two, sometimes three spray arms in a dishwasher. Make sure there is no debris blocking the holes inside each spray arm.

4. Water temperature is too low
To get the best results, the water has to be at 120 degrees Fahrenheit when entering the dishwasher.

5. Not enough soap
If you only fill one part of the soap cup, try adding soap to both parts.

6. Smoky film on dishes and glasses
This problem occurs due to excessive calcium build up inside the dishwasher. Try cleaning you dishwasher using a dishwasher cleaner. There are a few out there.

Kitchen aid NOT CLEANSING DISHES

It sounds like you are not getting enough water to make the dishwasher function effectively. Could be a bad valve could even be that the spray arms aren't letting through enough water.

Kitchen aid dishwasher doesn't clean dishes in the top rack

Sounds like you have 1 of 2 problems. Either your pump is clogged or you need a bigger drain loop.

Bosch dishwasher

Although I previously posted with the same problem of a film on the dishes after cleaning, I did find a section in the owner's manual which solved my problem. Lift up the rinse aid cap on the inside door - the factory setting is on "4". The rinse aid works in conjunction with your local water, which has variations in it's hardness or softness. When your dishes are streaky, lower the rinse aid setting to 1 or 2. If your dishes are spotted, raise the rinse aid setting higher.
