Hi. I recommend Checking the sensor wiring harness and harness connection between the oven sensor and oven control. Replace the oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.

Lamona Lam3707 oven ER 15

The error code ER 15 on your Lamona Lam3707 oven indicates a problem with the temperature sensor. The temperature sensor is a small device located inside the oven that measures the temperature and sends a signal to the oven control board. If the control board receives a signal that is outside the normal temperature range, it will display the error code.
To fix this issue, you may need to replace the temperature sensor. Here are the steps you can take:
  1. Unplug the oven from the power source.
  2. Locate the temperature sensor. It is usually located at the back of the oven, near the top.
  3. Remove the screws holding the temperature sensor in place and gently pull it out of the oven.
  4. Disconnect the wires from the sensor.
  5. Install the new temperature sensor by connecting the wires and securing it with the screws.
  6. Plug the oven back in and turn it on to see if the error code has been resolved.
If replacing the temperature sensor does not solve the issue, it may be a problem with the oven control board, and you may need to contact a professional technician to diagnose and repair the problem.

I have a Kenmore 66575014101 oven I get F3 fault code but I replaced the Temperature sensor and it still gives the F3 fault code

I found this on line don't know if it will help but it might send you in the right direction for testing to determine if it's worth repairing-- sorry
Shortly after a series of power failures I started receiving this error code. Looked up it online and did some extensive research. Everything pointed to a faulty sensor so I purchased a new sensor and installed it today. It didnt help, and testing my old sensor I determined it was also working. In the service manual it stated to do the following corrective action for the F3 - E0/E1/E2/E3 error codes:

Quote: 1. Measure sensor value (between connector pins) between 1000 ? @ 32° F and 2697 ? @ 900° F (room temperature approx. = 1080 ? ). If measurement does not correlate to real temperature, disconnect power, replace sensor and refer to steps 3-5. Also measure from sensor connector to sensor casing for possible short.

2. Trace wires and connectors to sensor, from control, then from sensor back to control. If all connections made and no wire damage, refer to step 3.

3. Disconnect power for longer than 30 seconds

4. Re-apply power and press BAKE and START/ENTER. Observe for longer than 1 minute.

5. If failure remains, disconnect power, replace control, then go back to step 4. I also tested the resistance of the sensors control panel wire harness connector and they are correct. Next step outlined in the service manual is to replace the control board. Sears has the control panel in stock for $177.47. This to me is not worth it over the cost of a whole new oven. Are there any fuses or anything else that could easily or cheaply be replaced before throwing out the oven. Thankyou very much in advance for your time!

Error code F3 - what does it mean and how do i fix it.

F3 Error Code - Shorted or open oven temperature sensor (RTD)

Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.

The first thing I would do is remove the oven from the cabinet, remove the back cover and check the wire harness from the the oven sensor to the control board. Eliminate the old sensor connection to the wire harness and reconnect it, using a high temperature porcelain wire nuts.

Hope this helps.

Onen display shows f3

The F3 error code relates to the oven temperature sensor and usually means this has failed and needs to be replaced.

It is a reasonably straightforward job, details of which you can find here; www.fixitnow.com/2003/02/appliance-tip-of-the-day-oven-temperature.htm
