Question about Televison & Video
Go into 'menu' then 'controls' then 'allow ads' turn to 'off'
You may have to search awhile, they tend to bury it deep into the menus on some of those models. Also should be a 'allow popups' setting that needs to be turned to 'off' too, as some providers piggyback "popups" with their programming, stinks I know.

Is good that you hit it and it reacts,very likely you have loose conections in different places but for the distorted picture you need to check the horizontal driver transformer and flyback after that is corrected you need to check the complete chassis for loose conections.Take your time.Good luck.

Ur tv now power on only have picture few mins,than dead,have sound only?Yes,than the 1 or 2 the long board call the LCD inverter boards are dead.The LCD inverter long boards help the LCD screen to have a backlight to produced a picture.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy 1 or 2 long LCD inverter boards for the replacement.

The board that call the T-CON decoder board is dying this board job are decodering signal before it go to LCD screen panel.This T-CON decodering board sit in the middle at the bottom of the LCD screen panel.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish T-CON decodering board for the replacement.

there is a triangle that shows up on the side of the tv screen
this type of problem is due to vertical yoke winding wire is loose or its connector seems to be loose.or part connecting to winding is loose or orint loose.
as you say that it goes away after 30 to 40 seconds.so no possibility of components failure.
if you are not tech person tech the help of tech person.
