Why do my Bose speakers seem unavailable to Alexa. Alexa will not respond you did work before

The Bose systems are SYSTEMS for a very good reason. They're made for people who want good sound but don't want to manipulate the hardware much. The speakers and amps are designed for each other ONLY, not only electrically but through soundshaping to provide the smooth final result. The design is for you to feed the electronics a Line Level source and the magic and distribution happens internally. These are NOT mix 'n' match components. The special connectors are a clue. The Yamaha will probably blow them up if you manage to succeed with your plan.

Bose Cinemate remote stopped working
Ive had the same problem, basically happens anytime we lose power or if it gets unplugged. Great speakers, poor design. Im not having any luck this time. Gonna try leaving it unplugged longer, like days this time. The remote feels like the problem, any button just causes the TV/VCR/AUX/ect row to blink, can't program it or anything. Seems like this is a common problem

Bose surrond sound not working...
Your TV may have a setting to make its Audio Output Variable or Fixed. That is, as you turn the TV's volume down or up it will either vary the output (as it seems to be doing in your case) or keep it Fixed so external electronics can still use it when the TV's volume is down or off. Some TV's do it another way - they have a selection to turn the TV's speakers OFF.

Bose companion 5 problems
Have had Bose companion 5s for about three years. The external volume deveice in not active. If I unplug it, the sound goes dead. The indicator light is stuck on green and is very dim.. The touch feature does not respond nor does the volume. Sound is set very low an barely audible. Can I get replacement external volume control or is the problem inside the base unit itself? Any help out there with a similar problem.
