Just bought the singer psw 2.0 used. The converter box lights flash when I plug it in then they don't turn on anymore. And so the program won't install without recognizing the converter box. Thank you

Are you using a USB to Serial cable to communicate with the box? You need to find out what COM port the cable is on, and reset it to either COM1 or COM2. In Windows, go to Device Manager, and click on the listing for "Ports." Double-click on the device, select the Ports tab (should be set on a 9600 Baud Rate) and the Advanced Button. At the bottom of the Box, you'll see a drop-down box with the current COM port assignment. Drop down the box and select the lowest number not in use. If both COM1 and COM2 ARE already in use, click on it anyway. It will ask for a confirmation, click Yes.

Have a WV-234, can the BNC plug be converted to

USB us a Universal serial buss, so pretty much anything can be used to interface with the computer. However, A straight "Convertion" will never happen. They do make USB Audio/Video interfaces which is what you are looking for. Google "USB AV interface". Keep in mind a straight "cable adapter" is not going to work. You need an actual device that is recognized as a video source device to work, like this "Video Xpress Device USBAV-192-EF". I do not know the quality of this product nor am I recommending it, it's just the first one I found.

Sansa media converter will not recognize my mp3 player

The Media Converter will only recognize the device in MSC mode.

Make sure it is on this mode and try all of the USB ports on your PC. If that doesnt work, try uninstalling and re-installing the Media Converter.
