Brother MFC 210c

I have a brother mVC 210c and when I turned it on the other day it displays unable to print run routine maintenance. I try accessing the maintenance in the menu Option 9 on the printer and it won't do anything. I have uninstalled and re-installed and this message will not go away and I can not print. the ink levels are full so I don't think it needs new ink. Any suggestions you have are greatly appreciated.

Press menu then start bc copy then 4 times arrow up. What error code does the machine display.

    Error code 41: defective printhead. Needs relpacement but spare part as costly as a new mfc!

Try running a purge count through the maintenance menu. You can enter maintenance mode by pressing: Menu> * 2 8 6 4 Press 8 0 Scroll down to purge count value. You should get there after pressing the down key 24 times. Press 2 7 8 3 to reset the purge count. The printer will then restart. Then try printing again.

Problem with my printer Brother MFC-240C "Print unable 4F"
Access the internal maintenance mode by pressing the Menu/Set button, then press * 2 8 6 4 within 2 seconds. This should put you in the maintenance mode menu. Enter 80, then scroll down with the arrow down (round) key. You'll find an entry listed as purge count. If number is over 6000, enter 2 7 8 3.

This will reset the purge count value. Then the printer will restart, try this step by step.without missing any thing. thanks
