Tower Beeping Hi Guys, I am using the Samsung SyncMaster 152N and every time I try to turn it on the tower just keeps beeping and nothing shows up on the screen. I haven't used the computer in a couple months but I haven't moved it either or done anything to it. I checked to make sure everything was plugged in right and it is... Is there anytd? I can do? Or is my computer officially dead? Please help! Casey

As I can see the problem is not monitor but your PC if computer chasis beeping, depends on number of beeps the problem can be VGA card one long beep and 3 short or RAM if it beeping one by one short beep and finaly CPU if it continuosly beeps like police sirene. If beeps are pointing to VGA or RAM you must open computer chasis and plug out VGA and RAM and clean dust out of slots and of VGA card and RAM as well with painbrush and vacum cleaner and plug them back.
Good luck!

Why would my tower keep beeping and won't open cd drive or show on screen

The beep codes have nothing to do with dust, They usually signify a memory, video, etc. on the motherboard. The BOIS manufacturers (Phoenix, American Megatrends-AMI, IBM, etc.) have their own beeps codes. You can find them online by searching beep codes.

My tower turns on and makes this consistent beeping sound. And nothing shows on the screen.

I believe from my own past that the beeping sound is an over-heating alarm, and that you need to get more fans installed inside. Try taking off the door to your tower, and point a fan in on it and turn off the computer, wait about 5 minutes with the fan set to high to see if that solves your problem. If it doesn't then I suggest you take it in to the shop or wait for some more possible answers on here.

Hope this helps!

The computer does not fully boot when turned on, and the tower makes a continuous beeping sound. The monitor works fine, the problem is the tower. The tower just keeps on beeping without turning on or...

Hello

That beep could mean alot of things, but probably a VIDEO CARD or RAM has become unseated.

If you feel comfortable with this, UNPLUG THE COMPUTER take off the case, remove and reinsert the ram chips, and the cards. You might need a screwdriver or two, and a LIGHT. The ram tabs are small.

Good Luck

My computer tower wont stop beeping

Re-seat the memory.. more than likely they have unseated themselves during the dust cleaning. Beeping is usually caused by memory.. Beeps are usually a series like Morris code long..short beeps.. if re-seating the memory doesn't work, try swapping and removing different sticks and differnet locations on the motherboard, most motherboards have 2-4 memory banks or known as dimm slots.

Tower pushing out air and beeping and can't turn on PC

the beeping is post codes. they are telling you something is wrong. the code is a code for what is wrong like 3 beeps 4 beeps 1 Beep then repeatsthat code is 341. first thing i would do is pull out you ram and reseat it. that is the most common problem.
