Question about Daewoo Refrigerators
SOURCE: water dripping inside fridge
jeets, remove the bottom panel from the freezer by removing the 2 quarter inch screws up front. See if you have a sheet of ice under it. If you do, you probably have a frozen drain tube in back. When the unit goes into defrost the water is running down the air vents instead of the drain tube. If this is the case, you will have to remove the back panel in the freezer and clear the drain hole. Use hot water if it is frozen over....Catriver..post back.

Self-defrosting refrigerators dispose of the water generated during the defrost cycle, usually via a tube or channel that directs the water to a pan at the bottom of the refrigerator. From the pan, the water normally evaporates.
If the tube or channel is clogged or obstructed, the water backs up and leaks into the inside of the refrigerator compartment. Then the water builds up at the bottom, inside of the refrigerator. When the water has built up for a time it may spill out of the front of the door opening. To fix this problem, clear the drain tube or channel and allow the defrost water to flow down to the drain pan.

SOURCE: Fridge Condensation
Check the seal of the rubber gasket, if there are improper seal of the magnet, pour hot water along it to soften the rubber. (be careful when handling hot water). When the rubber is soften, try to stretch it a little by pulling it. close the door and the magnet will keep the seal in place.

Not an original solution - but a good one. Remove panels at the back of the freezer compartment to expose the heater unit or heater wire that defrosts the freezer coils and wrap a solid copper wire gently around the heater/ heater wire and place the loose end in the drain. This will conduct heat to the freezer drain and help keep it open. I did see a manufactured part in one of the appliance parts websites but it did not match my unit.
