jeets, remove the bottom panel from the freezer by removing the 2 quarter inch screws up front. See if you have a sheet of ice under it. If you do, you probably have a frozen drain tube in back. When the unit goes into defrost the water is running down the air vents instead of the drain tube. If this is the case, you will have to remove the back panel in the freezer and clear the drain hole. Use hot water if it is frozen over....Catriver..post back.

SOURCE: water dipping on the inside of fridge towards back

Hi

Self-defrosting refrigerators dispose of the water generated during the defrost cycle, usually via a tube or channel that directs the water to a pan at the bottom of the refrigerator. From the pan, the water normally evaporates.
If the tube or channel is clogged or obstructed, the water backs up and leaks into the inside of the refrigerator compartment. Then the water builds up at the bottom, inside of the refrigerator. When the water has built up for a time it may spill out of the front of the door opening. To fix this problem, clear the drain tube or channel and allow the defrost water to flow down to the drain pan.
Please do rate this solution as "FixYa" if found useful and revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Check the seal of the rubber gasket, if there are improper seal of the magnet, pour hot water along it to soften the rubber. (be careful when handling hot water). When the rubber is soften, try to stretch it a little by pulling it. close the door and the magnet will keep the seal in place.

SOURCE: WATER DRIPS DOWN FROM INSIDE TOP REFRIGERATOR BELOW FREEZER

Not an original solution - but a good one. Remove panels at the back of the freezer compartment to expose the heater unit or heater wire that defrosts the freezer coils and wrap a solid copper wire gently around the heater/ heater wire and place the loose end in the drain. This will conduct heat to the freezer drain and help keep it open. I did see a manufactured part in one of the appliance parts websites but it did not match my unit.

I have a Daewoo fridge freezer with water and ice dispenser - we have ice but the water has stopped - have checked filter, checked water inlet - any more ideas??

There is a solenoid valve that operates the water flow. There will be a switch in the door that you press to get water out of the door. That switch activates the solenoid valve. Check that switch and the solenoid valve (usually located in the lower back of fridge) with a meter and you should be able to trace it down in a few minutes.

Mw Daewoo fridge freezer FRS-20321BE is leaking water copiously from the refrigerator I cannot see any source for this but puddles form and flow internally under the veg box. Help!

All depends on how much water is collecting. A lot of water indicated a leak from the ice maker. A small amount and it's probably a clogged condensate drain. Here's a YouTube video on a different brand showing a clogged drain, your may be similar (or not), but it might give you an idea as to where to look. Refrigerator dripping water inside FIX

A slow drip in water dispenser

This sounds like a sticking solenoid valve. When you depress the lever for you water dispenser it activates a valve, usually at the bottom back of the fridge. It might look something like this:

25380372-1h1xuof4er41rm4qkikzo3jl-4-0.jpg Sometimes they just burn out and stop working or the seal inside fails sometimes from particulates in the water. Some people put a pre-filter on the water hose that attaches to the fridge just in case. If you have a water filter inside your fridge this does not protect the solenoid. They are next to impossible to repair so a replacement is needed. Just go to Amazon or eReplacement parts and search for your fridge model number with the search terms "water dispenser solenoid". If you are mechanically inclined you can replace yourself or get an appliance tech to do it. It's a 15 minute job.

I have water dripping down the back panel inside the fridge-it is constant. I wipe down the inside back wall, but hours later the water is back. The fridge appears to have a "channel" for this water

with out knowing name brand an model# i would say it sounds like there is a drain tube missing from the upper patr or freezwr area to the drain hole at the rear bottom . there is a drain pan under the refridge which catches this water then it evarperates. it also cab that the proper drain is pluged or blocked with algie which is comon try a little bleach to clean out the drain area

Can't find the drain line for ac. water is leaking in side on pass side

Could be the drain tube is partially clogged. It is usually located on the fire-wall or down towards the floor pan under the car. It is usually close to where the A/C lines go thru the fire-wall. About 1/2 inch diameter sticking straight out but may have a 90 degree elbow pointing down.
Also, it's been extra hot and humid all over and moisture could be freezing inside the unit when on MAX A/C, then suddenly melting when switched to normal. This opens the outside air door and allows warm/hot air into the unit instead of recirculating the cold air inside the car. The drain may not be able to handle a large, sudden quantity of water.
Perform a "driveway" test. Open the hood, start engine and run the A/C on normal with the windows or doors open. Locate the drain tube by looking for water dripping. Once located twist 2 or 3 pipe cleaners together and verify the tube is clean. Then close the doors/windows and switch to MAX A/C. Check for water dripping. If it stops dripping, water is freezing inside and now you know why!

Have a Dawoo no frost fridge. It is getting ice in the bottom of the freezer compartment, and it is dripping water, not into the drip pan in the back, but rather out of the front on to the floor. Otherwise...

You might have to pick a time to switch off your fridge all together for a half day and defrost it and the turn it back on it will probably be ok after that make sure the fans are working properly etc a no frost fridge usually has a heater that comes into play thats why no frost so to speak . but turn it off (plan the best time ) and make sure its fully defrosted . switch it back on and you should be go to go .
