THE DRUM BELT HAS SNAPPED ON MY LG TD-C700E DRYER, HOW DO I REPLACE IT.

Please check the water level guard switch and check the water filling solanedvalves

belt goes around drum the to the right of the tensioner and then to the motor pulley. you have to move the tensioner to the left to get the belt to the motor pulley. so the belt goes to the top of the tensioner, and around it in a clockwise manner, to the motor, not just under the motor and under the tensioner.

at bottom on the back pannel should be a trough that water collects in.............there should also be a micro switch and a float.......when float rises it trips micro switch that starts pump to send water to the collectin tank.........

Yes it will probably be the belt that has snapped, afraid they can be quite a job to replace as you have to take the drum out of the appliance to get the new belt around the drum. Although it also could be your motor if this has failed it may make a nois but not have th power to turn the drum.

You can open the appliance up by using flat head screwdriver at either end of the lid pushing it into the gap between the frame and the lid and prising it upwards and the top will pop up and you will then be able to see if the belt has snapped

Remove the front panel .. two screws probably.

Look for the belt tensioner on the floor when you get it open.

belt drive there are no gear drives I am aware of

is the dryer getting hot?
if not turn the power off and pull the dryer out and take the back off and push the red button in at the back

sounds like your condensin pump is leaking and triggering the over flow micro switch not a job 4 a novice call an engineer good luck
