With no error codes being displayed, this could be any number of things. The easiest to try is a new type 270 PCU. The cover over the laser write unit could be completely covered with toner (not likely). The transfer roller doesn't have any voltage going to it. That is the long black rubber (like) roller you see when you open the right side door. Check to make sure the contacts to the roller are all good and clean.
Anything else I can think of should give you an "SC" code.

The machine should automatically recognize the new PCU. Blank copies would lead me to think you have further problems, charge corona? transfer issues? If you try to make a copy and open the front door real fast when the paper should be at the transfer unit, is there an toner image showing on the drum? If yes, then you have charge but not getting transfer. This is a hard problem to troubleshoot without seeing machine. Anyway good luck, please rate this. Thanks ..... Wait... just had a thought. On the shaft, on the inside of the rear frame, that drives the drum there is a coupling that is spring loaded. Sometimes the shaft gets gunked up and coupling does not pop out not connecting to the PCU, which could cause blank copies and will still say replace pcu. You could add a couple of drops of oil to that shaft to loosen it up if that's the case.
You need to enter service mode and the # is SP 5-912-1 set this to 0 (to get in to service mode press in sequence clear modes 1 0 7 and hold red stop for 5 or so sec. At the top of the screen should be direct SP highlight this and press the 59121 and it will take you right there.-Carl
Blank in middle could be lack of toner or developer in the developer unit. Also bad charge or transfer coronas. Is paper
wrinkled? You might make a copy and stop the copier before thapaer goes into the fuser, and see what kind of copy on the paper. If complete problem is in the fuser such as warped rollers, etc.....
