SOURCE: I have a new LG NV3 I am using a micro SD card for

I/O error is an input output error - it means the card reader cannot read the SD card. Possibly the card reader is defective or the adapter is defective. Is the adapter or the card "locked" there should be a little slide ont he side - be sure it is all the way in the open position. There is a software called Oxycube which will read most phones using a data cable or bluetooth if your pc has an adapter - it will save pix from either the fone or a storage card.

Testimonial: "Perfect answer! I thought this might be the problem. I was told by a guy at Walmart (in the electronics dept) to clean the card with alcohol? THANKS"

hello, kindly check if it is inserted properly, you will see a directive arrow on the memory card to show you how it is to be inserted,if after you have inserted it correctly and it still does not sees it,i would suggest you suspect your memory card is corrupt if their is any message displaying on your mobile phone screen, and if it does not show any message like memory card corrupted, then you will have to visit a mobile phone repair expert to help you change the memory card slot, after this your mobile phone will now read your memory card.

kindly rate this solution if it's helpful,

take care.

Mu computer is windows 7 professional

Marie, If your computer is not equipped with a SD/Micro SD card Reader you will have to purchase one to simplify looking at it and copying it on computer. You can also use appropriate cable possibly to hook your camera up to computer.
Step 1/ Insert a USB card reader into an available USB port on your PC.
Step 2/ Insert the micro SD card into the card reader. Some card readers will only accept standard SD cards. If that's the case, insert your micro SD card into an SD card adapter and insert the adapter into the card reader.
Step 3/ Click "Open Folder to View Files" in the Auto Play window to launch Windows Explorer in the appropriate drive letter. Alternatively, press "Windows-E" and click the card reader's drive letter.
Step 4/ Drag and drop files to or from the micro SD card's drive letter to copy files. Alternatively, right-click and drag files and then select "Move Here" to move the files without keeping the files in the original location.
Step 5/ Select a file, press "Delete" and select "Yes" to delete files from the micro SD Card.
Step 6/ Right-click the micro SD card's drive letter and select "Eject." Once ejected, you may safely remove the card.
Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Adding a micro sd to your phone increases multimedia capabilities

Adding a Micro SD card to your cell phone is a wonderful way of fully using the multimedia capabilities of most modern day phones.
Most current cell phones now have the capability of having a micro SD card. It it simple to add one and is similar to inserting your SIM card. Take of the battery backing, pull out you battery and you will view a small rectangular slot which holds your cell SIM card. If your phone has the option of having a micro SD storage card you will see a similar smaller rectangular slot or compartment for a micro SD.
You can purchase micro SD cards at many stores and the price has dropped tremendously and can now holds up to 16 gigabytes of memory. With this card in place you can now use your phone to hold a large amount of songs which can be used for ring tones and use you phone as a MP3 player. If your phone has a camera you will be able to store far more pictures then any phone comes standard with. You can also, place and store important documents on your phone. With a large enough card your phone should fully cover all your multimedia needs and unlock the full potential of your phone.
A micro SD card is a great way to get the most out of your cell phone.

I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A MANUAL FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO INSERT MY MICRO SD CARD INTO MY COMPUTER AND WHAT TO DO WHEN I INSERT THE MICRO SD CARD

You'll need an adapter to convert the Micro SD card into a normal size SD card, slot the Micro SD into the SD card adapter and then plug that into the computer.
Most computers then pop up a box to tell you that you've plugged something in, so you can then browse what is on the card.
Double clicking on the items on the card will then enable you to view the images/items.

Insert the Micro SD to the slot which says "Micro SD" and then plug it in the USB port of your laptop. The laptop will soon detect the Micro SD. Open "My Computer" and then choose the removable drive which is usually E: or F: or G:. Thanks.

How to view pictures off of my micro Sd card on my AX380 model phone

Connect the supplied USB cable from your cell phone to theUSB port on your computer.
The computer will see the cell phone as an external storage device or anexternal mass storage device, you can then open the photo folder on your cellphone and copy the photo to your computer. If the photos are stored on a mini or micro SD memory cardthen - An alternate method is to remove the mini or micro SD memorycard from the cell phone and insert it into an USB card reader then connect itto the USB port on your computer. Youcan then open the photo folder on the micro or micro SD memory card and copythe photo to your computer.

I have an 8GB micro sd card for my blackberry storm when i put it in. It says media card has inserted contains errors. to correct the errors use a disk error-checking utility on a computer. what do i need...

Hi,

The chances on any micro sd card showing errors can be either the files stored in it are corrupted or the card is simply bad already. You may try to identify the problem by performing the following steps.

1· Access micro sd card through a card reader. May it be built-in in a computer or an accessory that needs to be plugged-in to a computer.
2· Wait for a few seconds for the computer to read the micro sd card.
a· If it asked you to "open the folder to view files", do so then copy all contents in a new folder on your desktop. This is to make a backup copy of your files. Then, format the micro sd card with FAT32 format. Copy all files back to your micro sd card.
b· If it asked you to format the micro sd card, most likely all files are corrupted. Try to format the card for re-use. If not successful, your micro sd card is bad already and needs replacement.

I hope this works for you. Good Luck!

Memory Card Error

You could take the card to a store that has a Kodak picture maker machine (Walmart, etc.). From there, you can print your pics or even make a cd of them. The card may be faulty or just may not work in Canon cameras.

How do I use the mico sd card on this player?

I would recommend here:

http://www.newegg.com/product/ProductList.aspx?N=2070070068+1053118914&Submit=ENE&SubCategory=68&Tpk=micro%20sd

It honestly doesn't matter what brand of micro SD you stick in your MP3 player, so I wouldn't worry too much. Micro SD's are much smaller, so no, you can't use a normal SD in a Micro slot. Most however do have an SD "shell" that you can stick your Micro into, and use just like a normal SD card. Also I know that MOST mp3 players allow you to add pictures, videos, etc, and having a Micro SD inside should allow you to add things directly onto it, so i dont see why you wouldnt be able to access the contents of the Micro from your MP3.

Hope this helps! :)
