When i turn on the computer it will come on and then goes right back to shutting down
Have you tried to boot to safe mode to run an antivirus/spyware program? To access your safe mode, press F8 right as the windows logo is about to appear and you should get a prompt for logging to safe mode.
Also, be sure you dont have a stuck key on your keyboard, some pc's like mine at work will load but shutdown/disable the keyboard if a key is stuck.
Do you receive an error message of any kind?
If so, what is it?
Does Windows say something like "shutting down" or does the computer just shut off w/o any warning? (like if you unplug from the power outlet)...
If you are using a battery backup for power, unplug the computer power cord from it and plug the computer power cord directly into the wall outlet for now. try to start again.

Most likely your power supply is faulty. You can test it with a voltmeter to determine if this is the cause or if it's the motherboard.
You may have a corrupt hard drive. You may want to try reinstalling windows or check control panel, screen saver, power options as well
Check the power settings in user profile.
Also run a anti-virus, trojan, and malware program such as avast.
If needed, download and run a registry cleaner such as Eusing or Glary Utilites which are both free.
If needed, use system restore and set your computer back to a date from when this started happening.
