Hi Dorian Davies, as you comment, you would have problems at the speaker output stage
Try disconnecting it from the power outlet wait 15 minutes, reconnect it and see if it is corrected
If it does not you should look for a specialized technical service

Prueba desconectarlo del toma corriente esperar 15 minutos, volver a conectarlo y ver si se corrige
Si no lo hace deberas buscar un servicio tecnico especializado

Sony mch -gn1200d all the keys are not working.

Try connecting it a USB keyboard. If works, you should repair your keyboard. If won't work, it's a softwre related issue and you should post a new question, explaining the situation so someone might help you.

im not seeing any records on sonys site for your model, but, if you have no manual, and can find no approrpiate output- you CAN run subwoofers off the front speaker terminals IF you do it right. you will need a subwoofer with speaker level input and output, with an internal crossover.

How to hook the 3490 to get 4 ohms

Hello
The output impedence of the amp is 8 Ohms. It can also be connected to a 4 Ohms speaker, but the reted output will be higher than specifed, and the sound quality will be reduced. You cant get an putput impedece to this amp by no means, as its' output is desigend to match 8 Ohms/channel. If you have only spekers with 4ohms impedence, connect two of the in serieal connection, so that, they together will reach a resultant impedence of 4Ohms. Similarly connect an other two spekers in series to the other channel too. OK.

Most of the Sony TVs have a sound output less that 4W or so. If you connect an external speaker directly, sthe speaker shoud match both in impedence and watts, to the internal speaker fitted inside the tv, otherwise the audio output ic inside the tv can get damaged.
You can connect the earphone output of the tv, if any provided on your tv, to the aux; input of your stereo. There is no trouble.
