Question about Ricoh Aficio MP 2000 Black and White Copier

Toner cartridge not loading

I recently installed a new cartridge in our Aficio 200 copier but the replace cartridge warning is still being displayed after every 2 or 3 copies. We have teken the cartridge out and reinstalled it several times, even have shaken the cartridge to loosen the toner. It goes fine for a few copies then the warning reappears.

Cheat the front door interlock and watch the toner bottle to see if it is turning. If not, could be a bad toner drive motor/drive assembly. Otherwise, remove and disassemble the toner hopper and clean it up. Make sure the four clear 'scooper' tabs are attached on the back of the receptacle that fits around the top of the toner bottle. Otherwise, just purchase a new toner hopper, they are cheap.

Check your developing gear maybe one already worn out replace one set 5 pieces if not try re-install toner cartridge twice, check sp mode -toner drop or reset. hope this may help you.

Check inside there the top of the bottle goes. There should NOT be the white stopper from the previous bottle there.

Toner life end warning light. replaced with new toner/drum still error
To reset the sensor after installing a new toner cartridge follow these steps.
1. With unit powered on open the front cover.
2. Press the "Options" key. Display will show "Replace Drum?"
3. Press "Start" key.
4. Press "+" key 10 times until the display reads 10.
5. Press "SET" key.
6. Display will show "Accepted" for approximately 2 seconds. Then display will change to "Cover Open".
7. Close cover and see if Toner Life End error message has gone.

Problem with aficio 1035
The developer should probably be changed in it. the cartridge should be inspected as well. Was there any toner spills?
