I have a GE WDSR2080D 5WW washer. It seems it does not spin. I tried to put the option to heavy load, it seems a little better with big noise, but the cloth is still not dry
I have the same problem with my GE WDSR2080D 5WW. It will not completely spin dry. When the problem occurs we have to let it sit for an extended period of time and then retry the spin. I have a GE WSSH300G0WW washer and it is doing the same thing except I can not go to any other cycle to get it to spin. The water is just sitting in the machine right now.

Put old coupler back on transmission shaft. Can you now turn coupler? You should not be able to. If you can, grooves in coupler are stripped out. Replace coupler. Part # WH49X10042
